Hundreds of thousands of servicemen were exposed to asbestos over decades, especially during the period from 1940 to 1980.  Asbestos was used in construction of naval vessels as well as shore facilities.  All branches of the military used asbestos, which was also widely used in civilian applications.  Asbestos can cause mesothelioma.  Because this cancer has a particularly long latency period, many servicemen who were exposed years ago are now developing this disease.

Opinion: The Swine Flu Vaccine Screw-up

Government & Politics

By Barbara Ehrenreich TomDispatch

Optimism as a Public Health Problem

If you can't find any swine flu vaccine for your kids, it won't be for a lack of positive thinking. In fact, the whole flu snafu is being blamed on "undue optimism" on the part of both the Obama administration and Big Pharma.

Optimism is supposed to be good for our health. According to the academic "positive psychologists," as well as legions of unlicensed life coaches and inspirational speakers, optimism wards off common illnesses, contributes to recovery from cancer, and extends longevity. To its promoters, optimism is practically a miracle vaccine, so essential that we need to start inoculating Americans with it in the public schools -- in the form of "optimism training."

But optimism turns out to be less than salubrious when it comes to public health. In July, the federal government promised to have 160 million doses of H1N1 vaccine ready for distribution by the end of October. Instead, only 28 million doses are now ready to go, and optimism is the obvious culprit. "Road to Flu Vaccine Shortfall, Paved With Undue Optimism," was the headline of a front page article in the October 26th New York Times. In the conventional spin, the vaccine shortage is now "threatening to undermine public confidence in government." If the federal government couldn't get this right, the pundits are already asking, how can we trust it with health reform?

But let's stop a minute and also ask: Who really screwed up here -- the government or private pharmaceutical companies, including GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, and three others that had agreed to manufacture and deliver the vaccine by late fall? Last spring and summer, those companies gleefully gobbled up $2 billion worth of government contracts for vaccine production, promising to have every American, or at least every American child and pregnant woman, supplied with vaccine before trick-or-treating season began.

Guys it's the government raising its ugly head and involving itself in everything again. Ya'll remember about that we don't have enough H1N1 flu vaccine? It's because of the missing chickens! The CIA (stands for Chickens in Afghanistan now) conducted a 'midnight extraordinary rendition' (AKA: stealing chickens) of the all 'Kentucky' based chicken farms (which coincidentally are next to an Army base) that supplies all them Chickens to wherever they make the flu shots. This created the shortage in vaccines. But we got em NOW, We know that they're gonna send them chickens to A-stan to reward all the voters for their allegiance to Karzai. Oh yeah, we're also gonna send those 'cash for clunkers' there too, getting rid of our junk. We also know that the 'Chickens in Afghanistan' was caught putting (for all you old ex 'pot smokin hippie folks' that understand) 'Purple haze' in the voter's ink (for the voters that wanted to get more than one vote in). Then they were going to give the acid tripping voters cans of spray paint and told to spruce up the town, hey let's face it, A-stan DOES need it. Would have worked just fine except they lost the papers on which company buys all that spray paint (would have been another Halliburton contract anyway) and it got lost in the Potomac somewhere around the ‘Caught's' farm, (accidentally got shredded and put in with the hay for the chicken coops). But fear not. We can still use those Clunkers to cover all those bunker rooftops, except now we'll have to buy them back since we already gave them to Klunkers, Brown and Root. Darn, Sooo close. Hey, maybe we can give the clunkers (the drivable ones) to all the homeless, so they can drive to the poor farm like they used to do in the thirties? Give em a chicken to take on the way too. Yeah, that'll fix em. No good deed goes unpunished. I can see it now at the 'farm's' main gate, "Is that a chicken in your pants there buddy, or are you just happy to see me? “Hey, don't ask, don't tell”.

There are no clinical trials proving vaccine ever immunized anybody for anything, as a matter of fact much to the contrary.

Swine Flu Vaccination Poses Serious Threat to Your Health

Print Post
Posted by Anders under English, Euromed

Suvey of contents of US swine flu vaccines as of 5 Nov. 20o9.
Dr. Mercola´s latest news on swine flu.

One reader wants more evidence that squalene is so poisonous. Of course, the final proof would be a mass investigation of the befallen Gulf War soldiers. However, the US DoD has refused that - which is suspicious. Here are links that provide heavy evidence that the squalene is the cause of the Gulf War syndrome

Link 1 and Link2 and Link 3 and Link 4

But Just look at p.84 of this doctor´s thesis: 2 voluntary Americans were vaccinated with pure squalene. They both fell heavily ill.

In fact the Danish Medical Journal has just accepted an article from me on squalene for publication, where I also use some of these well founded articles.

Here is one of many proofs a that squalene causes rheumatoid arthritis in rats and here (University Hospital of Stockholm).

US CDC and VHC Networks have stated, that 1-2% of anthrax/squalene-vaccinated persons will be disabled or die.

One reader demands more documentation for this. Here is the GAO Communication from 29. July 2007: pp. 1-2: "A small number of individuals may experience more severe (vaccination) reactions, such as some servicemembers who received the anthrax and smallpox vaccines. DOD made these vaccines mandatory starting in 1998 and 2002, respectively."

p.3: "Some servicemembers who received these vaccines experienced severe reactions such as migraines, heart problems, and the onset of diseases including diabetes and multiple sclerosis. Since then, the adverse events associated with these vaccines have caused concern among members of Congress about the safety of some mandatory immunizations. The military suspended the use of the anthrax vaccine in October 2004, in response to a court order that expressed concern regarding the administrative process by which the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the vaccine for its use. The court subsequently modified this order, which allowed the military to begin to offer the anthrax vaccine on a voluntary basis in April 2005. In October 2006, after the court order had expired, DOD announced that it was resuming mandatory vaccination for certain personnel. (Without informing if it had changed the contents of the vaccine)

In response to 3 congressional directives DoD established the Vaccine Health Care Centers (VHC).
p.4 Officials from the VHC Network and CDC estimate that between 1 and 2 percent of immunized individuals may experience severe adverse events, which could result in disability or death.
Also see this thorough work by Dr. Meryl Nas presented at the 26. July 2007 Hearing, House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, Subcommittee on Health. On pp.7-8 she has an interesting comment.
Since the DoD admits that the anthrax vaccine had more side effects than the other vaccines, it is to be concluded that the rate of serious side effects for the squalene/anthrax vaccine is higher than 1-2%.

27, Oct. 2oo9: Finland has just downgraded swine flu to "not dangerous".

8. nov. 2009:Jyllands-Posten: Scientists acknowledge that we do not know the long-term side effects of the vaccine, but the risk by not allowing oneself to be vaccinated - especially for sick people and pregnant women - is probably bigger, says Health Minister Jakob Axel Nielsen. He will not let himself be vaccinated - but nevertheless recommends vulnerable groups to do so. The pharmaceutical industry is terrified at damages, which could cost companies huge sums. Therefore, it is na
