Hundreds of thousands of servicemen were exposed to asbestos over decades, especially during the period from 1940 to 1980.  Asbestos was used in construction of naval vessels as well as shore facilities.  All branches of the military used asbestos, which was also widely used in civilian applications.  Asbestos can cause mesothelioma.  Because this cancer has a particularly long latency period, many servicemen who were exposed years ago are now developing this disease.

911 & Terror War

screenhunter_04_nov._05_19.46_150NO LIES, NO SPIN, NO FINGERPOINTING

THIS WAS A TERRORIST ATTACK

By Gordon Duff STAFF WRITER/Senior Editor

I am going on the record before there is any official story at all on the murders at Ft. Hood.  The more time passes, the more investigation goes on, the deeper it gets.  12 dead so far is a terrorist attack, not an Army psychiatrist with a stress problem.  Nobody is at fault, not this president, not the last one and not the army.  People kill people, not guns.  It could always happen and it did.  No coverup is wanted, no spin desired no CYA, nothing.  Deal with it.

If I turn on the TV tomorrow and see ANY network trying to feel sorry for the killer or blame anyone else, figure the possibility I will get in my car and start down the road looking to open a can of whoopass on somebody.  We honor our dead, we bury our dead, we don't spin them into the ground with political chickenshit.

military-columbineAnyone who no longer feels safe, who thought they were safe before needs to know:  There are no survivors on number 3.  These bodies are issued with no warranty an an expiration date we can't read.  If being totally safe is absolutely vital to you, please stay the hell away from me.  I am already a Vietnam vet, I don't need anymore crazyness.

Some things are obvious.  Muslim, psychiatrist, gun.  Enough said.  Add carnage to that and any attempt to call this something other than terrorism is totally insane.  People are being killed all over the world.  Today it was us.  We fight back.  This is our way.

The most important thing for us to realize is that this is the only straight talk you are going to get.  Every word from here on will be a lie.  There is a world out there with people who have too much time on their hands, people paid to take a simple fact, paint it blue, paint it green but when they are done it isn't a fact anymore.

No investigations, no reports, no minute by minute updates are going to bring anyone back.  This guy was a terrorist, this guy was a murderer.  I don't care if his mother didn't love him, I don't care if an Israeli scared his cat.

When things like this have happened in the past, our friends in Saudi Arabia have set up funds to support the families of the killers.  Many of those who murdered Israeli children have been rewarded in such a way.  I think this was wrong, it was wrong but because of oil and gutlessness we did nothing.

I wouldn't like to think something like this is still going on.  If anyone wants to make certain that this practice is over, I would support this.

Lenin and Trotsky, the real inventors of terrorism would tell us to seek broad retribution.  This is not a moral judgement I am empowered to make, not on an operational level.  However, it is something that crosses my mind.

If concepts like this crossed more people's minds, there might be less killing.

Maybe I am missing something.  I am supposed to put this in a larger perspective of an endless chain of violence and shrug, perhaps say a few words into clasped hands and wait for a diety to offer an answer.

It is the responsibility of every man, every day, to act with moral judgement and an appreciation for the sanctity of human life.  Today, someone went well beyond any sensibility, any duty, any form of human behavior whatsoever.

We bury our dead, we start sharpening our knives and we begin to look.  Maybe it ends here, maybe, but I am not so sure it should.

This comes at a convenient time for those that have replaced the commie boogie man with the rag head brigade.

Our nation is presently debating whether to push in many more thousands in to the deserts of some destitute country.

We need an enemy; and we really, really need to hate our enemy. Saddle the horses, out to seek revenge, no matter if the bombs miss their target, no matter if there are no targets, indiscriminately 'shoot into the crowds'.

We have Rupert's press to feed; we have sheep who read.

How do we trust those that conduct investigations if they are part of the game? Like the 9/11 "investigation"? McVey? Atta? Oswald? Some ‘rag head dr.? Forgive me if I doubt...

They can prop up any individual, any ideology, as the perpetrators of any atrocity and we swallow it hook line & stinker, hardly any questions asked.

Rush out & kill to satisfy our revenge lust. This is our way, the way forward.
Because we’re cowboys and yes, we can.
God bless America.

Since there are a lot of opinions here, try this one floating around the web. This one is at least a little more in depth than let's go Muslim hunting. Bear in mind the female police woman/contracted to the base/reincarnated Annie Oakley who shot the doctor rembers nothing about it after waking up. She is a hero but remembers nothing about it! How convenisent. She shoots a doctor turned terrorist whose specialty is mind erase and pysops, he just rolled in trom Virginia Tech where a chinese guy gunned down 32 students also, and she remembers nothing. I don't want to be too hard on her she is like a lot of Americans, they remember nothing either. I am wondering however when the Chinese guy gunned down students in Virginia did any of you call for war on Red China? Of course you didn't because they can defend themselves and they would blow us up in return. Nothwithstanding the fact that they don't have any oil or land Israel immediately wants to occupy. http://smokingmirrors.blogspot.com/2009/11/november-8th-radio-show-and-little.html (THIS IS ONE GUY'S OPINION ON THE WEB CAN ANY ONE DISPROVE IT?) FALSEFLAG!!! said... The Fort Hood shooting is looking more and more like a false flag. Best explanation from the bits of facts one can gleen through the disinformation from the MSM is that Hasan was a patsy who fired no shots at all (sic). That two or three government agents (most likely Mossad - to remove the killing of unarmed American moral complecation) dressed in army fatigues with rifles in the trasit terminal suddenly began shooting everyone including Hasan, and two civil police who rushed in. The rifle gunmen after a few short minutes of semiautomatic fire (>400 rounds) slipped out of the transit hall and were transported by a black SWAT van with engaged siren and bluelight at very high speed out of Fort Hood. One of the civil police survived - although she has no recollection of shooting Hassan. Hasan is rumoured to have survived. If Hasan is the patsy he will NEVER be allowed to utter a single word EVER. The reason is that he will disclose that it was not him but the two or three government agents who shot up the soldiers in the transit hall. Hasan will be suicided. Dead patsies never talk. Compare Oswald. Cui bono? The Rothschildean, American, Zionist beast who needs public support (money) and more troops to go and kill the browned-skinned people to steal their oil and ressources and to make their country to agree to control by the private international banking cartel. This was a false flag by the very same folks that brought us 9/11. No more, no less.

Well it has been five days now people this story is going awfully slow! We have a noncombat doctor who got off 400 rounds with a 357 in one hand and a clip gun in the other who killed 13 and wounded over 40. Move over Wyatt Earp, Billy the Kid and Jesse James you have just been supplanted in American lore in the field of gun play! This doc should have been combat because if he were the war in Afghanistan would already be over...... Where were the guns traced back to, who bought them, were they army issued?....... Where are the other two guys picked up in connection with this and then released, what were their names, were they muslim, Israeli, or freckled faced Billy and Joe from Texas?............. There was a lock down on Fort Hood and they want to see who is missing. They want evidence and anybody who saw anything. They especially want to know if anybody has any automatic weapon shell casings because that would make them look awfully stupid if there is any because the doctor was not supposed to have an assault weapon was he? I wonder if they want to make sure nobody saw any gunners who looked mideast type who weren't muslims................ It would seem to me America is spending a lot on a military that can't protect themselves, see USS Liberty, unstoppable planes flying over New York or Fort Hood Texas. It reminds me of the roman saying cuid ipso custodes....who will guard the guardians?............. After breaking news the media has gone strangely silent after reporting multiple shooters and different areas of the base having gunfire. The only one who isn't silent is kosher Joe Lieberman and Diane Feinstein. Joe thinks we need to look more closely at veterans military people and Americans citizens. They need watching! But that is how it always is isn't it?...................

the middle east have been fighting with each other before 'Christ was born'....we, the USA, need to get out and just let them kill one another. We are a smart Nation, we can live without their oil--that would hurt them more than bombs and bullets. Does anyone realize how much money those sand scums get from our Nation because we buy their oil? Why do you think gas prices are so high? Who do you think runs OPEC? ***Let the boys at Levinworth get a hold of that scum bag muslim who killed those at Ft. Hood; they will fix his ass.....boo hoo, I was harassed because I'm a muslim. Shut the F@!# up you sorry peice of shit! And anyone who believes the media is just a damn fool! They can't even get the weather right...

I agree! It seems every time there is some kind of killing(s) it seems to be a Rag Head! This guy, the guy(s) who plotted against attacking the recruiting stations and the list goes on! We need to understand that the rag heads are here for one reason and one only and that is to kill Americans period and they do it any way that they can to include enlisting into our Military and they are succeeding! I don't trust a single Rag Head or Muslim in this country and will not ever! Wake up America! I am so tired hearing stuff like Stereotyping is bad and all that crap you can stick that up your fricking wazzo I don't even want to hear it!!!!! The Rag Heads if I were them should worry about some of these Red Necks in this country retaliating against them. America better wake the hell up and start thinking about your family and what the heck is happing in this country and the leaders that are allowing this crap to happen here! God Bless the United States of America and it's Warriors!

Isn't it wonderful that it was a Moslem that did the killing? How easy for us hate mongers now! Add the poor Israeli children killed, but of course don't look at the poor hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, Lebanese, Syrian babies that have been bombed, butchered, slaughtered, bayoneted and blasted away by Israel. We all know Israel can do nothing wrong! How many Palestinian men are kept in prisons and tortured. How many brainwashed and sent out? But we can't say that, because we are doing the same thing! But we must overlook that of course. Why are we in Iraq? Not for the US not for the Iraqi people. Who benefits. Only one country - Israel! But of course we are American we cannot say that. The Israeli Frankenstein monster rules all of us! God Bless the US for sending our boys to die? Shame! Die for what? Shame on us! We went into a country on lies, we admit it was wrong THEN WHY ARE WE STILL THERE? SHAME FOR EVERY AMERICAN BOY AND GIRL THAT DIES THERE!

there is a tough edge here today.

i spent half the day telling people to watch out for israel for managing our news and pushing us into war and the other half telling us that islamic soldiers will kill us in our sleep

i have a family full of jews and dozens of islamic friends.

    go to my facebook page.

we have to pull the race and religion out of it...but still learn to play hard...

this is the wrong time for me to bring up our own crimes...

    today is about our dead

we will keep it at that..be very angry....and be all grown up some other time.

Pay attention now terrorist cells, see how easy that was! they didn't even see it coming. So who's turn is it now?....easy there Alli, you can have the recruting office and you there with the bayonet between your teeth, you can have the town square during the Veterans Day festivities cause we're going to score big on that one! Those stupid Americans refuse to see anything and now that the Fort was accomplished there isn't any target we can't hit! Who want's the VA cemetary services? we'll score big on that one! I THINK SOMEONE HAD THEIR BACK TURNED AND THEIR EYE'S CLOSED! How many more America? and you wanna take away my WHAT? My GUN! I am soooooooooooooo embarrased over this! And I am sooooo SAD!

  • By Jim Starowicz on 2009-11-06 12:14:17
Really SSG M, then what about the killings at Virginia Tech, or in The Church, or at the Care Center in North Carolina, or How About McVeigh, or at the Holocaust Museum, I could go on and on and on, But You Already Look Like A Racist Fool, you can't be made to look worse!!! What nationality and religious ideology do you come from and follow, guess what some probably are just as negative towards you just because!!!

  • By Panther on 2009-11-06 13:03:28
I could not agree more. Only that I will go further in denouncing these rag heads. I believe our politicians should share in the blame. I do not feel that these rag heads belong in our military let alone in our country. They have taken over the Mom & Pop grocery stores and gas stations, trucking and other areas of our lives in this country. I'm not politically correct and I'm not going be. I'm with you, I'm tired of hearing about stereotyping and all that BS. It is time for real Americans to stand up and say ENOUGH is ENOUGH. How Ironic when a liberal democrat is in office that we have all these shootings. I believe these rag heads should be loaded up and sent packing and anyone who thinks it is unjust then they should leave with them before they destroy this GREAT LAND and our way of life. GOD BLESS AMERICA and Our Right To Own Firearms.

  • By Oldleatherneck on 2009-11-06 17:00:13
I agree! Political correctness has run amuck, tollerance has to go in both directions, and Islamists have no tollerance for anything other than their point of view. To the others that claim Israel is comitting atrocities indiscrimanitly, open your eyes . They are only trying to survive in their own land when every one around them wants to destroy them. Leave them alone and they will not harm or attack anyone. The Palestinians never had a country! To those who say leave religion out of, you are pollyannas in a fantasy world. Its all about religion, always has been, always will be. It is what it is period. About the rag heads, the camel already has his nose in the tent. The beast is already here and we have to deal with it. Make no mistake Islam is determined to destroy the JudeoChristian ethic. Two opposing idiologies can't occupy the same space at the same time.

  • By Lee Martin on 2009-11-07 04:46:30
I do believe this is the most intelligent thing I've read here so far.The problem is not all Muslims are bad people, but how do you distinguish-they will be kind and smile at you everyday for 10 years and then blow your head off or plow a plane(s) into buildings, etc, etc-for years we gave them a slap on the wrist with that politically correct BS, then when we try to protect our homeland the bleeding heart liberals come out.Now we have a president that doesn't want us to be able to protect ourselves so he can bring his people in to finish the job.I say please God have mercy on us.

By Stewart on 2009-11-05 22:08:30
The timing of this terrorist attack, as usual, was perfect. No more dissent or discussion, please, about sending more troops into that Muslim den of Ragheads, Afghanistan. They kill us over here, we will kill them over there. As far as Iran goes, it is full of Ragheads. Let's get them now. No more pussy-footing around. Israel has the answer. They didn't pussy-foot around with the Ragheads in Gaza, did they? They killed them, men, women, and children. Serves them right. Whose country do they think it is anyway? No more peace shit. Let's get Iran now. Just like the timing of 911 was perfect to get that evil Raghead, Saadam what's his name. We showed them, didn't we? Kill, kill, kill. They are animals with no respect for human life. Damned terrorists. They sure know when to get our goat, don't they?

We have one man.  We can learn a lesson...a real one...and it can involve hate....

but it has to be a lesson that serves us and doesn't turn us into animals ourselves.

    none of this is easy.

    none of it

    today we see it

I expect the media to do as usual here. For a week or more we will be seeing interviews from everybody and his brother, blaming everone from the president to the janitor. ( who was out sick) They will slice and dice this thing to death just for what they think is a good presentation. Maybe they will say that the perp or perps had a rough childhood or something. Who knows? This is a terrible thing to happen.

I agree. Things are not what they seem to be. It's fact the middle east has been at each others throats every since Mr. Adam and Ms Eve were kicked out of the Garden of Eden. One thing that concerns this ole cot is, if we pull out and let them have at each other the Baddies just might end up controling Pakistan nuclear weapons. That said, why should we even think of letting them fight it out amoung themselves. Are there any assurance the Goodies will win without our help. First off, we need to get rid of the Baddies here...the Republicans...to the man...and woman, including Snow of Maine and Liberman. Imma and me are more afraid of them than those other Baddies. The latter being less feared because there is a toss-up...or 50 - 50 chance the saner one just might win. Who knows? Your guess is just as good as mind, and if you agree about the Repo's, you're in my corner. Let us not forget how very close we are to going off the deep end, nor never forget how close we did come with "Less Government" turning all the big businesses loose on us Po folk...as opposed to that One Percent Elite Group.l Give it some thought, but only consider know facts and NOT what every George, George, and ....and Lord let's not forget the BIG CHEEZE that started the mudslide...Dear Ole Ronnie, the Deceased beloved IDOL of every Repo in this bunch of Republicans.

By Tom Barnes on 2009-11-06 04:39:02

Okay.  Some facts now that we have had a half day to cool down.

The shooter was not a rag-head.  He is a Muslim and he is alive.

He is a native born American, born at Arlington Hospital 39 years ago.  That is about six miles from where I am sitting now. He went to high school in Roanoke, VA not all that far from Tennessee.

He was devout Muslim who prayed often at the Muslim Center in Silver Spring, MD.  His parents were from Jordan and emigrated here before he was born.

He is a graduate of the U.S. Armed Forces Medical School where he got his medical degree.  He has worked as an Army psychiatrist at Walter Reed.  His extended family lives in the same area of Virginia that I do.

He had strong views on America's involvement in the wars in Western Asia and often spoke out against what he considered to be American aggression there to his colleagues. He made no secret of his hatred for our involvement in western Asian wars.   He was quite vocal to the point that his colleagues in the Army often isolated him for his views.  He made them uncomfortable.

I am no shrink but I am going to guess that he snapped and acted on basic core beliefs that a Muslim killing Muslims is damned to hell.  That is pretty much standard Islamic thinking.

He was apparently a murderer.  But a terrorist?  I am not sure.  He did not seem to be acting on ideology as much as he seemed to snap.  On the other hand, he had two accomplices apparently and one of them is in custody so we have to wait and see if there was a consipiracy here.  That would indicated his state of mind if he planned this out with another person.

Terrorism?  Maybe.  Murder? Absolutely.  Tragedy?  Certainly.

God help us.

CWO3 Tom Barnes, USCG (Ret.)

    Tom,

You and I don't often disagree.  I am calling him a terrorist.  If we start admitting to terrorism, whether someone is born here or not, right wing fascist, left wing (I think they are all gone now) or Islamic, call terrorism what it is.

Doing otherwise continues to feed the need for denial, the need to keep giving up freedoms for safety that can never exist.

When we had the DC snipers...they were terrorists...but not terrorists.

Anthrax was terrorism but not terrorism.

We have a dozen other attacks hushed up....or called something else....

Just because someone didn't belong to a group talking directly to the long dead Osama bin Laden, imaginary boogeyman of the CheneyBusyChimp rule era, doesn't mean we don't have real terrorists.

As a psychiatrist, he lacked the skills to make a suicide vest.  He chose, instead, to use pistols, and now, contrary to yesterday's stories, he is embarassingly alive.

I agree with you Tom. Mostly. Terrorism is a Verb not a Noun. We need look no further than all the chuckleheads in our own Country to find an endless supply of Terrorist. Hell we had a Mall shooting here a few years ago with I believe 6 dead, no muslims involved. Nobody gets out alive and I have no fear but exercise much caution when dealing with my fellow man. Bottom line is all of us could try and remember to remove the plank from our own eye before trying to remove the speck from our brothers eye. Revenge is an endless cycle until someone is fearless enough to say "NO MORE!""An Eye for and Eye and soon the whole world is blind."

By CYNIC on 2009-11-06 10:43:51
Scary times. But I think Barnes has it pegged--it's happened before, with the San Patricio's. But I don't see this case to be any more terroristic than Akbar's or McVey's or Burmeister (the white one, not the black one)'s. What scares me is that the right wing will have a field day with this. But we must be careful--we might see the Manzanar-- or Palmer Raid-syndrome.

You got this right. CBS News just reported that the shooter was yelling, "allah-ackbar," in what a guest on the Morning show called an "ideological mass killing." An ideological mass killing to obtain a political objective is by definition is an act of terrorism.

Just a point of clarification on the CBS News story.
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/11/06/national/main5548236.shtml [www.cbsnews.com]

Reads the report online. The report reads, "Lt. Gen. Robert Cone, Fort Hood's base commander, told CBS's 'The Early Show' that the alleged shooter is rumored to have said ' Allahu Akbar,' (God is great) [www.cbsnews.com] during the shooting, but was unable to confirm that information."
Point being that there are no excuses here, but reporting a rumor appears a bit strange in light of the fact that the first 12 hours everyone was silent on the narrative of facts. But now the next day, it's okay for the base commander to report a "rumor?"

Just saying it's not beyond the U.S. government to be completely full of shit. :) Just maybe.
A rumor is not a fact until it's a fact.

U.S. Veterans speak in silence 10-06-09
Peter Macdonald 465 Packers falls Rd Lee NH 03824 603-659-6217
VETERAN’S TODAY published an article where Carolyn Crandall best tells all U.S. citizens what the problem is. Veterans Today is a web page where veterans and other articles allow those that have been there to see there is a chance. This is a growing site that editors across the U.S. should read. Not all but some letters and articles inform honestly the inner most part of the mind of those with silent demons and some if not most do not even realize they are in them. Carolyn is talking about being raped her self and what followed. Her answer tells the American people why U.S. Military do what they do after coming back from deployment with out her probably even realizing it. Carolyn is talking about rape and the reaction of others to it. The way others cannot accept the traumatic result that engulfs the mind and affects your life. People that have never been raped cannot understand only accept if even that. It is like a mental health doctor treating patients only from the experiences of what he read in a book. Carolyn speaks out on a subject that no one wants to hear.
A Major Mental Health Doctor at Fort Hood who returned once from deployment suffered from it yet no one saw or believed the word. A Marine from NH stationed in NC kills his wife shortly after returning. No one back here wants to see the results of those that have been there because they do not understand. People believe that they can knowingly be qualified to understand. I ask how if you have not experienced it? The day that I stepped off the plane in 74 the world that I grew up in no longer existed in my life. Thousands of veterans from every war or conflict enter this domain not even realizing it because of the joy around you. When I stepped of that plane my mind and body suffered from four service connected (some combat related) life-changing disabilities. I had no memory from brain trauma. I had a broke back from a Vietnam Offensive. I had difficulty hearing from being blown off the runway. I had the silent demons that no one would realize for some 20 years eating me away. I was dumped with no help or support into a society that could not accept what I had done or understand what it was doing to my mind. Tens of thousands of U.S. Military Veterans go their entire life suffering because understanding as Carolyn points out cannot be achieved by reading the events in a book. Rape affects different people different ways. Combat and killing others affects each person differently. We do not talk about it back here because it is not a subject that your rejection no matter how settles can cover the hidden discus. A mental health Major illustrates Carolyn’s point clearly.
NH putting me in jail as a terrorist to stop my opinion highlights it in my life. My time as American Advisor while on convoy deep in Cambodia stopping at a friendly village for the night. Taken by the enemy only to kill in hand-to-hand combat. Nights locked in a cell deep in the donjons of NH’s court weapon left me raped from a life only NH elected officials tell me that I do not belong.
May be Carolyn realizes the Rape of the Childs mind that enter our military and defend a life back here that the citizens take for granite. May be Carolyn and the rest of the citizens should understand that we did it and it never leaves. We try to make the best of it, as we survive just knowing that you hate us for what we did. Suicide and violence are a growing part of our life.

I suppose just about every murder should be terrorism because it is in one form or another. Being familiar with American politics however I am sure this one will take on the aura of the O. J. Simpson trial and be featured for months leading to a concusion that America should just go ahead and enter a nuclear war with Iran.

It won't be relegated to the back page like Scott Pollards stealing American defense secrets and handing them to Israel or Dov Zakheim spiriting 3 trillion out of the pentagon budget and jacking it to Israel. This type terrorism ends up on the back page. As a matter of fact most Americans are not even familiar with it. One in 20 American kids think Hitler was a German football coach.

It will be used to fuel war sentiment make no mistake about it. Using this same analogy we could say the Von Braun shooting at the holocaust museum in Washington gives us the right to declare war on Germany for the third time since he was of German descent.

Hey a Romanian gypsy robbed the seven eleven the other day should we send drones over Romania because they are going to kill us in our sleep? You see how ridiculous this line of reasoning is but make no mistake you can expect it.

There have been several shootings at Fort Hood recently and in Killeen, Texas itself is where the psycho went crazy and shot up the cafeteria.

Most of this is called post traumatic stress disorder.

Between 1969 and 1971, the Army reported 600 fragging incidents that killed 82 Americans and injured 651, according to the Associated Press. In 1971 alone, there were 1.8 fraggings for every 1,000 American soldiers serving in Vietnam, not including gun and knife assaults.

• May 11, 2009: Five soldiers shot dead at Camp Liberty in Baghdad by Sgt. John Russell.

• Sept. 8, 2008: Spc. Jody Michael Wirawan shoots himself to death after killing 1st Lt. Robert Bartlett Fletcher at Fort Hood.

• Feb. 25, 2008: Dustin Thorson, an Air Force technical sergeant, fatally shoots his son and daughter at home on Tinker Air Base in Oklahoma in domestic dispute with ex-wife. He had been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder after returning from Iraq.

• June 7 2005: Two National Guard officers are killed by a grenade at headquarters in Tikrit. Staff Sgt. Alberto Martinez is later acquitted of murder in a court-martial.

• March 23, 2003: Army Sgt. Hasan Akbar tosses grenades into three tents and then fires a rifle at Camp Pennsylvania in Kuwait, killing one and injuring 14. Akbar later receives death sentence.

• Oct. 27, 1995: Sgt. William Kreutzer goes on shooting spree at Fort Bragg, killing one and injuring 18 in a sniper attack during formation. He is serving a life sentence after a death sentence was overturned.

Although the military services have done much in recent years to address the effects of a lengthy war on service personnel and their families, multiple deployments and the stress of combat have taken their toll.

I spend part of the year in Europe, some in Germany in a small town where, over the years, I know most folks.  Every year, workers from Poland were brought in to help with the harvests.  With their economy strong, workers were brought in from "elsewhere."

There is now crime.  There was none before.

Now every door is locked and people who have grown up without weapons wish they had guns in their homes.

Nothing will be the same.  People will change.

This reminds me, I have a friend in Lucca, Italy, a painting contractor.  This is a town close to Camp Darby, the military supply depot near Pisa, in Tuscany.  About 30 years ago, a woman moved into the area from Sicily.

30 years later she is still called "the Sicilian."  A space alien would be more welcome.

    Europe.

Most of us come from there but forgot what it meant, small countries, language and even values can totally alter at a border only a few miles away.

    Thus...the debate of our lifetime...diversity.

Mick I read your post and have one question .that the f*** are you talking about. If this country doesn't wake up and understand that we are under attack by a bunch of barbarians that want nothing other than to kill us and our way of life, then we are toast. Sure there are incidents that occur all the time such as those that you enumerated. So what!! Are you trying to say that this just happens, and this incident is not different?? If so, then you are sadly mistaken and shamefully misinformed. These zealots have only one mission, and unlike so many supposed Americans don't mind doing whatever it takes to take out their enemies ..us Americans. They are not saddled with ridiculous political correctness, diversity training and cradle to grave indoctrinaiton of "let's all just be friends, and sit around the campfire and sign the Coke song." Everyone is a winner no losers, etc. etc. on and on. Well in the real world there are enemies and people that will do us harm for a multiplicitiy of reasons. So to all those that think we are to blame for these events, my only suggestion is to buy an one way ticket to anywhere in the world ..hell for that matter why don't we set up a fund that provides the funding for anyone that thinks this country is so bad, jump on the plane and have a good life. We don't need any of you!!

By Tom Barnes on 2009-11-06 09:42:36

You have to understand....terrorism...no terrorism....it does not matter to 12 dead people and over 22 wounded.  It won't matter to the hundreds of the traumatized from this incident.  It is just a word that in this case only confuses the issue.

I grew up in a family that has, (yes this is true) distant family in the IRA.  The Irish Republican Army is seen as a terrorist group throughout the world.  I don't see them that way.  'Nuff said.

If this guy screamed "Allah Akbah" as he squeezed off those rounds, then from his point of view, he joins a long line of Muslim martyrs dying for his Faith.  We may disagree with that point of view, but that is a traditional Muslim point of view and a common thing for an Islamic solider to scream as he meets his death.

This is a lot more complicated I would think than it will seem at first blush.  To tell you the truth, this guy apparently had accomplices.  If he had accomplices then we have a real problem relative to this thin happening again.

Let me do a little IRA thinking here.  What if this was a cell?  What if this was predetermined order from a higher command in a fifth column organization?  What if this we predetermined months ago?  What if this is only the first of many cells operating violently inside the U.S. Armed Forces?

And don't be fooled by thinking "Well, this guy was a Muslim. We only have to watch Muslims."  It does not work that way.  The IRA and the Beider-Meinhoff gang and the Red Brigade and the PLO and Hezbullah and a dozen others all contract with each other.

The PLO has been providing world class guerilla and operational training to the IRA since the 1950s.

No.  I am sorry.  Unfortunately I have more experience with these people since my childhood than I am comfortable admitting.  If this was a cell formed along IRA lines, stand by for heavy rolls.  This could very ugly very, very quickly and we might not have seen anything yet.

Talk about someone slipping through the cracks,,wow.
What has not been mentioned here is the fact that our soldiers are not trusted to carry their own weapons while on base. I think this is a mistake. If we are going to trust these fellows in combat situations with loaded weapons, let them get accustomed to carrying that sidearm every day,, and especially on base!
How many victims would there have been if the douchebag psychiatrist had been shooting at armed men? One? Two? None?
What an insult to every combat soldier. Leave your pistol at home,, we don't trust you here with a loaded weapon. Try that philosophy with your average experienced policeman,,, it ain't flying. We are a nation of weapons. These men and women who died, are dead because they were not allowed to protect themselves.
As far as this being an act of terrorism, I think it is more an act of desperation from over stressed troops being deployed on missions with great risk with no clear mission or goals.
An act of terrorism, by definition, would come from an enemy outside of our own military. This was a mutiny from within.

99% of soldiers don't carry a side arm. They carry rifles for the majority, usually M-16s or M-4s. Do you know what that would be like having to carry that with you every day. Oh, I have to go pick up my child at daycare, and I can't take my rifle in with me... what should I do with it... Unrealistic. Plus for these people that do go on rampages, if they were to have a fully automatic or Burst capable weapon... No way.

  • By Shea Brown on 2009-11-06 14:44:37
Sgt. Snyder,, I get to shoot with some military folks once in a while and thought that most all were trained well in the operation of the 9mm Beretta,, some with Sig Sauers,, and a few Marine recon guys with a new 45 acps that shoot like a 22cals. Not just officers are issued sidearms,, and probably all soldiers should have one. If I were a soldier I would certainly want a good one. I did not mention taking a rifle to daycare,, or the grocery store,, but I would still rather see this than 12 dead and 20 seriously injured. I still stand by my point of allowing soldiers to have possession of a weapon while on their base. Yes,, a sudden auto burst would be devastating,, but so would the replying auto burst, which would be a certainty. This scenario could well have changed this maniacs plans. (If I were headed into one of these dangerous areas, I would ask the men in my outfit to carry their weapon everyday for the month before deployment, everywhere they went. Not a moment without it within reach.) And I agree so much with the comment about the brave female police officer who finally brought the crazy psychiatrist down,,, yes she should get an honorary Purple Heart,, and a big bonus in her pension!

About six months ago I visited Ft. Hood to visit a fellow Army retired Master Sgt. I approached the gate and he, the security guard asked for my driver's license. I couldn't believe it as I started to give him my ID and he said the drivers license will suffice. Wow, I had a tougher time getting on a Coastguard base to visit the exchange then getting into Ft. Hood. The military had better check into security at all military bases.

For once I almost completely agree with the writer of this article the differences are small.

But, I don't agree with a lot of the Racist posts here. Leave the racist thoughts in your arm chair quater back position and approach things as they happen and not to judge another race for what has happen (and they had nothing to do with it). He wasn't a Jew (thank God, or you racist would be all over it, but, then you still are even though they weren't involved it in, you still blame them, how about when Hilter was killing them by the millions do you blame them for that? more then likely so, RACIST PIGS).

The Jews after WW11 was granted that land, then didn't go in and take it, but now they must defend it, but I guess you racist think they should just lay down like WW11 time frame and before and just let them kill them like Hilter did, really small brains and piss poor humans). And no I'm not Jewish.

If one would check their history out, the Jews were over come and drove out of their native country thousands of yrs ago. They got only a very small part of it back. Something like the Indians here today. Woe, don't hear you say kill the Indians again!!!! Its the same idea...but not the same thoughts in your head.

The other ones who want it..they have been Nomads for thousands of years now they want what the Jews have, most came from Jordan, why don't they go back? Think about it, Oh I forgot, most of you can't read, you just vote YES!!

    Dennis,

I would take you to Jordan.  It is a typical stopping off point for Iraq.  Just driving in from the airport in Amman, you pass miles of Palestinian neighborhoods.  My Christian friends talk about the difficulty of growing up in a predominately Muslim country yet some are in highly influential posts in government there.

My Muslim friends are good people, loyal, trustworthy and kind.

I have no Palestinian friends there.  There is considerable tension in Jordan..you feel it everywhere.

Israeli's move in and out of Jordan freely but there is a powerful undercurrent of things very very wrong.  Jordan is an armed camp, troops everywhere, roadblocks, security.

You can visit Jordan but never really understand it.  This is almost impossible for an outsider.

It seems that America is under siege, not only by those who do not share our beliefs but also by those who have grown inpatient for our government to do the right thing. It is getting harder to know we are the enemy. There are so many people who have become disillusion by their perceptions that America is being sold or traded every time we turn around. I, for one do not believe in violence for it is not an answer to any problem. I do agree that we must be vigilant in our defense of our country. The deaths at Fort Hood are a tragedy; let us comfort those who stand-alone. I agree that nothing is absolute, my respects to the families of those wounded in this terrible incident.

Duffster,

I agree that he is a terrorist. If we can charge high school kids who make threats with "terrorist threats" than we can certainly call a spade a spade. There is no justification for what he did. The only shock to me is that it has not happened more often.

As for why we are there to begin with, that's a debate for another day.

Condolences to the families of the dead and wounded.

Can we give a honorary purple heart (or something) to the female cop while we are at it?

There is no doubt that this was a Terrorist attack. With his actions he created terror, it was an attack on US soil aimed at the US Military and so by its very definition a terrorist attack.

As a Canadian who has ever since 9/11 continued to hear from the US congress and the US media, how they have to close the Canadian border because we allow too many questionable people into our country and the possibility of these questionable people crossing the US border and launching attack against the American people. Were we still today hear that many of the 9/11 attackers came from Canada even though that has been proved by the US not to have been the case and that they were all in the US legally and mostly by using student visas.

This of Arab descent Army psychiatrist, (I will not mention the name because he is already getting too much publicity) will no doubt become a Taliban/Alkida will make him a HERO and many other Muslims will make him a martyr, encouraging even more to follow suit. After all he did more damage to US soldiers and to the US prestige then any suicide bomber has lately. The feeling of security for US soldiers at home and on their own base which took since Perl Harbor to achieve took all of a few minutes to evaporated into thin air, like the due on a hot summers day.

My concern is that this will not only spill over into Canada just as the school shootings did but will escalate even further as this man will undoubtedly be martyred into Arab and Muslim history.

    Kenneth

I come from a family that has jumped back and forth across the border with Canada since the 1700s.  We are one of the founding families of Ontario.

Canada has clearly, over the past few years, become a much better living environment than the US, despite being much much more multicultural than the US.  A few months ago, I was at a wedding in Markham.  The 2000 plus guests represented people of every culture and religion on Earth with few exceptions.

I have lived with the disharmony in Canada as things have changed but....Canada is making it work.

Driving back to Detroit (poor quality rest stops...few toilets, thank you very much) I passed factories working 3rd shift when most plants in Detroit are closed.

I have suggested to the kids that they consider moving to Canada.

This is a border I have been crossing for 60 years.  Going thru US customs from Canada was shameful.  I tend to get a bit confrontive when confronted with authority figures with severe psychological disorders get in my face.

America didn't used to be like this.  Today is not the forum for the reasons..or what I think they are.

    g

  • By Cpl. Kenneth H. Young CD (ret) on 2009-11-06 13:58:51
Although all the border BS bothers me to no end, I was more referring to the proverbial flood gate that this man has opened. The killing of your own troupes, the killing by a senior officer of Non Com`s and the physico behavior of a doctor specifically trained to weed out and prevent this very thing from happening. This attack was so successful that it may well be written up in terrorist manuals and could possibly become the newest flavor of the month when it comes to terror. Governments in Canada, USA, Great Britain, Germany, France and any other world melting pot country need to keep an eye on any increased Arab or Muslim armed forces enrollment, as this here has the distinct potential of becoming the norm rather then the isolated incident. As I said the flood gates have now been opened. Cpl. Kenneth H. Young CD (ret)

Excerpt from:
"I Have a Dream”
delivered 28 August 1963, at the Lincoln Memorial, Washington D.C

"Let us not wallow in the valley of despair, I say to you today, my friends.
And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, (or their religion), but by the content of their character.
I have a dream today!"

(or their religion),is my addition.

Let's not let this or anything that happens change US from who we are.

  • By Fran on 2009-11-06 12:30:34
Maybe some domestic security could start with some real education to identify red flags in ANY individual(s) and have a strong network so someone potentiality unstable and a danger to themselves and/or others doesn't slip through the cracks until havoc happens. And to do this without starting a 'discriminating and profiling' witch hunt of certain persons.

Sorry Duff

But there seems to be a huge curve you haven't crossed yet and that's understand the real reality of stress-ors on the human mind and the extreme stress that can grow in some as they can picture the trauma they lived through or that told them over and over and over and over........and not experience themselves.

Let me point to just some, the WWII, Korean and 'Nam Vets who never showed nor seemed to experience PTSD until watching the 'shock and awe' of Baghdad then all their memories or what others told them came into their minds like clear movies playing over and over.

Let me add, what happened yesterday is more of the growing 'blowback' from these previous years, the suicides at Hood and other bases, the murders as well at bases or by the veterans who returned done to others, and these 'blowbacks' are within, there are probably more eventually from outside sooner rather then later, All from the failed policies of the previous recent years and our little ones today will be dealing with for the decades coming, Especially If This Country DOESN'T Hold Those accountable for what they've done 'In Our Names!', and even holding accountability will only minimize, we've killed, maimed and destroyed way to many already!!!!

You could well see a move against places like this in the Fort Hood Area.

ORT HOOD
Anti-war cafe opens in the shadow of Fort Hood
Off-post, soldiers can let down their guard and open up about the war at Under the Hood cafe.
By Jeremy Schwartz
AMERICAN-STATESMAN STAFF

Saturday, August 15, 2009

KILLEEN — Past the barber shops advertising $6 military cuts, weapons stores and used car lots, an anti-war coffeehouse occupies a small wooden house on a corner of Texas' biggest Army town. Six months after opening, the Under the Hood cafe has become home to a growing number of veterans and active-duty soldiers who are beginning to question America's wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Less than a mile from the gates of 53,000-troop Fort Hood, the cafe is a place where soldiers, many of them fresh off of multiple deployments, can swap stories and ideas without fear of retribution, its supporters say.

It has also become a refuge for soldiers who are refusing to deploy — or are thinking about it — including Spc. Victor Agosto, who last week was sentenced to 30 days in jail for refusing an order. Another Fort Hood soldier, Sgt. Travis Bishop, an Iraq veteran who has applied for conscientious objector status, was sentenced Friday to a year in federal prison for refusing to deploy with his unit to Afghanistan.

Not since the heyday of the Oleo Strut coffeehouse, the hub for the anti-war movement in Killeen during the Vietnam War, has such an enterprise thrived here. But unlike its predecessor, which closed in 1972, Under the Hood has for its driving force a newcomer to the peace movement, a 17-year Army wife with no history of activism.

The cafe is run by Cynthia Thomas, a former stay-at-home mom who didn't become politically active until 2007, when her husband, a Fort Hood soldier, was sent on his third deployment to Iraq. Thomas said she was furious about his deployment; she said her husband was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and other maladies from a previous tour. When her stepson decided to join the Marines, she said she felt compelled to take a stand against the war.

Under the Hood is among a handful of what supporters hope is a growing number of GI coffeehouses around the country. Similar cafes have opened outside of Fort Lewis in Washington state and Fort Drum in New York.

During WW II all military facilities had armed guards at most buildings and rightfully so the US was at war. Washington has long clamed to be expecting attacks on US soil and the US is at war, yet some yahoo with loaded guns is allowed to stroll into one of the largest US Army bases, unchecked, unquestioned and armed to the teeth.

Maybe we have to go back to the armed guards at every building entrance who check if you have any business being there before admitting you. Maybe the US and Canada for that matter has to finally come to the realization that they are in fact at war and are venerable to infiltration by some less then friendly people.

Army prisoners isolated,
Denied right to legal counsel

[Travis] Bishop, who served a 13-month deployment to Iraq and was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, was court marshaled by the Army for his refusal to deploy to Afghanistan. Given that he had already filed for CO status, many local observers called his sentencing a 'politically driven prosecution.'
By Dahr Jamail / September 29, 2009

The military's treatment of Army prisoners is "part of a broader pattern the military has of just throwing people in jail and not letting them talk to their attorneys, not letting visitors come, and this is outrageous. In the civilian world even murderers get visits from their friends," according to civil defense attorney James Branum.

Afghanistan war resister Travis Bishop has been held largely "incommunicado" in the Northwest Joint Regional Correctional Facility at Fort Lewis, Washington.

Yet this Fort Hood Soldier murderer will probably have large team of Tax Payers sponsored lawyers at his bed side even before he wakes up. He will also because of his training declare himself "Not Guilty... By way of diminished mental capacity, at the time of the shooting." Having been trained in recognizing mental problems, will any other Doctor ever know for sure if he is faking it or not? With his new found fame and notoriety as well as his most certainly being made a martyr by the Muslim world or at least by the Taliban/Alkida, will he even want to be found not guilty? Cpl. The Sorcha Faal site and i don't know who it is but they do come up with large amounts of information from time to time but in some instances do manage to put quite a spin on it at the tail end. Here is some seeming facts being brought out.

[Note: The US Military has completely removed the website of their Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress organization early on the morning of 6 November 2009]

"Interesting to note in these reports, however, about Major Hasan is his past psychiatric training, paid for by the US Military, at Virginia Tech University where he graduated from that schools Center for Applied Behavior Systems with a degree in biochemistry, a school which FSB reports have long warned “is most likely” one of the US Department of Defenses top PSYOP training centers and where in April, 2007, it suffered the worst school massacre in US history when a Chinese student named Seung-Hui Cho, reported to be a subject to mind-control experiments, single-handedly gunned down 32 fellow students."

"Now to understand the circumstances that placed Major Hasan at Fort Hood in the first place one has to understand that he was one of the US Militaries top PSYOP specialists and had received his medical degree, with honors, from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland, in 2001, and did his internship at Walter Reed Army Hospital."

"From his position at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress, Major Hasan became one of the originators of what is called the US Army's “Warrior Combat Reset Program” set up to help American soldiers returning from war zones, or being redeployed to them, cope with what is called post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and which according to these reports led to his being at Fort Hood to “electronically prepare” an experimental group of US Soldiers for their return to the Iraq war zone."

And among these “experiments” conducted on US Soldiers by their government, and according to FSB files was a “research specialty” of Major Hasan’s, one was one called Radio Hypnotic Intracerebral Control Electronic Dissolution of Memory (RHIC-EDOM) which was pioneered for the US Military in the 1960’s by New York University Professor J. Anthony Deutsch who…“indicated that the mind is a transmitter and if too much information is received, like too many vehicles on a crowded freeway, the brain ceases to transmit. The Professor indicated that an excess of acetyl choline in the brain can interfere with the memory process and control. He indicated excess amounts of acetyl choline can be artificially produced, through both the administration of drugs or through the use of radio waves. The process is called Electronic Dissolution of Memory (EDOM). The memory transmission can be stopped for as long as the radio signal continues.”

"Unfortunately for the Americans, and who were undoubtedly warned by their Russian counterparts about this, the previous Soviet experiments using SSRM Tek software combined with RHIC-EDOM technology had a very dangerous side-effect of “triggering immediate battle memories” instead of “erasing” them and resulting in masses of Russian troops who were undergoing these experiments to “erupt” in “immediate violence” which left an estimated 37 of them dead when they began (for no apparent reason) to begin firing upon each other."

Nice research, I suspect much of this is true. MK-Ultra type programs are ongoing according to many "insider" sources. Check out www.wanttoknow.info Something tells me Hasan may not survive too long. I agree that terrorist is an appropriate word to use, BUT it is absolutely essential to fact check everything and every one. What is the likelihood that this "official" story is going to be any more accurate than the "official" myth about the day of 9/11 infamy?

Thanks Night Flyer it is good to hear from somebody who knows the score. Here is another take.

http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/article.asp?ID=11589

Conflicting reports are emerging about the Fort Hood shootings. The first one below from Associated Press says there were two gunmen, others further down put the number at three. However many there were this story is beginning to look suspect.

Army: 7 dead in dual attacks at Fort Hood, Texas
Associated Press – November 5, 2009

The Army says seven people were killed and 20 wounded in a pair of shootings at the Fort Hood Army base in Texas. An Army spokesman at the Pentagon says the shootings began about 1:30 p.m. Thursday at a personnel and medical processing center at Fort Hood.

The spokesman, Lieutenant Colonel Nathan Banks, says two shooters were apparently involved. There is no word yet on who they were, nor on identities of the dead.

Banks says the second incident took place at a theater on the sprawling base.

He says it is too soon to tell whether there is any link to battle stress or repeated deployments. The Army is suffering a record high suicide rate and other signs of stress from fighting two wars.

THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. Check back soon for further information. AP's earlier story is below.

FORT HOOD, Texas (AP) — The U.S. Army has closed its massive Army base at Fort Hood, Texas, amid reports that several people have been shot and killed at the post.

The Web site of the base in central Texas has posted an alert that says, "Effective immediately Fort Hood is closed." The Web site said that units at the base have been ordered to account for all personnel.

The site says, "This is not a Drill. It is an Emergency Situation."

Several television stations in Texas say several people were both killed and wounded in the shooting. Officials at the base and in the nearby town of Killeen, Texas, have not confirmed those accounts.

Fort Hood is located halfway between Austin and Waco.

Update – November 6, 2009

Meanwhile this verbatum from Britain’s Daily Mirror this morning mentions three gunmen:

“Twelve people were killed and 31 wounded when three gunmen in uniform opened fire at the US Army's largest armoured base in Texas yesterday. One gunman was shot by civilian police and the two others held at Fort Hood.”
Source: www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2009/11/06/brown-it-s-like-ww1-2-115875-21801278/

While the lone policewoman who confronted and stopped the alleged “lone gunmen” is being hailed as a heroine. Just as Jessica Lynch was once until it was revealed that the Pentagon had embellished her story for propaganda purposes.

This may be a little different but, as with Jessica Lynch, it seems the real story is being suppressed and another played out for propaganda purposes.

Update II – November 6, 2009

Michael Rivero editor of What Really Happened has suggested that:

“I think that a GROUP of soldiers rebelled against further deployment. This is why we had early reports of multiple shooters, numbering up to 5.

“But 5 soldiers shooting their officers signals mutiny in the ranks. It recalls the "fragging" of Vietnam days. It looks really bad to the citizenry. It could even spread to other soldiers and other bases where the military are stretched to the breaking point.

“So, the DC boys look around and say, "Oh, we have this dead Muslim guy; we'll just blame it on him!" And presto-chango, five shooters pissed off with the wars becomes one conveniently dead Jordanian Palestinian Muslim with possible links to Al Qaeda.

“Only turns out Major Hasan isn't dead. Which creates a whole new problem the instant he gets off that ventilator at the hospital.

“Which is hardly likely to happen.

“Meanwhile, this article reports tha

Through a long life (I am 65) of learning-study-research and travelling, living among people with different background and life philosophy, I have learned that what is normal behavior one place might be totally prohibited somewhere else, i.e. tolerance is very important if one wants to be objective and to understand a phenomenon without bias, also that one should never jump into easy conclusions and wait until having ALL the facts on the table, analyzing and looking at every detail with a critical eye, before emitting any judgment about controversial issues, because very often "what appears to be ready at hand IS NOT what it is". It might be that “some guys or authorities rigged the whole thing up for reasons that suit their untold purpose”.
1) Suppose that Major Nadil Malik Hasan was triggered-tricket into murdering his fellow brothers of arms, by drugs or remote means of mind control... Would this tragedy not be another "necessary Pearl Harbor, 9/11" in order to create the needed psychological climate of anger and hate within the US citizens against Muslims and Arabs and to conduct a hetz that will oust them from the military, learning centers and even schools in the USA?
2) "Cui Bono?": Who would benefit from such a climate of pointing the finger at a certain religious or ethnic group in the USA? The very same ones that support the stance of “Israel first” (unlimited arms and taxpayers money to support a rogue State) and want the USA to be dragged into a new war against Iran, Russia and in the coming future China… The same ones who are now preparing Argentina as a place to dwell if all the plans go bad and the American people discover that they have been conned by the AIPAC, the Federal Reserve owners and the Wailing Wall Street Dons.
What happened in Ft. Hood is terrible and is bloody plain murder of fellow soldiers. Now, let us find out the real reasons why this tragedy happened and put the blame on the perpetrator (or perpetrators) not the color of his eyes or the ethnic or religious group he belonged to, if he is dead... As we all know, a criminal might act on orders and behind him you might find the real intellectual authors of the crime.

The rest of the story is pertinent.

"with possible links to Al Qaeda. “Only turns out Major Hasan isn't dead. Which creates a whole new problem the instant he gets off that ventilator at the hospital. “Which is hardly likely to happen. “Meanwhile, this article reports that Hasan was making the normal preparations for deployment. He emptied out his apartment, gave away things he didn't want to take with him, and told everyone he was deploying today. Does that sound like a man about to go postal?”

Once again as I said from the top we don't know what happened there. My heart goes out to anyone who was killed for whatever reason but we don't know what happened. We do know there is a lot going on in the world right now that major news organs are not reporting on and would most liikely wish to forget.

What I have noticed on this site is the perpetual simplistic comments that show up attempting to divert most every thread to the muslims are going to kill us in our bed routine. They may emanate from the kingdom of the fools are it might be more straight forward.

Israeli thought police declare war on the web.

When I see posts indicating anyone is racist who does not agree with them, we need to attack Iran today before they take us out, they are hiding under our beds or attempts to continually play the holocaust card I have to wonder.

If the reports are true on the web such as emanating from Germany concerning their entire army refusing squalene laced flu vaccinations it might be wise to follow this story also. If the vaccines are this dangerous we could lose more than a few soldiers.
Right now the U.N. and the WHO are in panic mode. Information coming to light could bring the whole thing down.

We don't know for a fact that some soldiers are rebelling against this vaccine.

There are plenty of youtube video on my blog of young women who are already mangled for life.

Lots of comments... I'm so scattered today... it's not just the shocking news... the veteran in my life had his meds changed Drastically today due to the fast acceleration of their symptoms from Agent Orange... while a certain organization meant to help veterans is playing games... and dragging out the time as my loved one gets sicker and weaker... so quickly.

HINDSIGHT
WE MISSED THE SIGNS 10-07-09
Peter Macdonald 465 Packers falls rd Lee NH 03824 603-659-6217
The number of times that I have asked for help cannot be counted. The politicians and educated always say as an after thought “why did we not see the signs”. It is like the Criminologist Levin from Mass that responded on the news about the Fort Hood shooting. We can always look back and see in hindsight but you cannot know until it is to late. The thing is this Muslim Army Major told the proper authorities that he wanted out. No one listened. He told the proper authorities that he could not kill brother Muslims. No one listened. The signs were described to the proper authorities and no one wanted to listen. We must consider how some one could not kill other Muslims but it was OK to kill brother citizens of the country that he was born in. Putting the signs in writing does not work.
A resident walks in to NH Senator Sheehan’s campaign office after seeking the same help in hospitals and police station to takes hostages. This man cried out for help and no one listened. A U.S. Marine returns from combat and marries his NH hometown sweet heart. Stationed in NC this Marine flashes back and kills his wife. Now both of these fellow citizens are in Jail. How many others give the warning signs and no one listens. Our prisons are filled with U.S. Military veterans that showed the signs that the U.S. continues to ignore. Now called PTSD has had a different label after every engagement. Most never talk about it because it will stigmatize your life in society. The silent demons eat away any chance of living in a society that will not accept us. The newspapers will not publish the letters of U.S. Military veterans writing opinion such as this because we are considered mentally deranged. Can the warning signs be ignored or is this societies way of paying the U.S. Military Veteran back for the way we protected your freedom?
I am a 100% disabled U.S. Military Veteran. I survived two Vietnam Offensives and eight convoys across Thailand, Laos and Cambodia as an American Advisor transporting surplus supplies to friendly camps. I have four life changing disabilities three combat related yet the VA stops my medical care to help the NH elected officials stop my opinion letters. It is re started but on a limited bases. It is so bad that a VA doctor tells me the medication is destroying my liver stop taken it. The VA clerk calls my home and tells me to keep taking the pills that are killing me that they will renew the prescription. A process that normally takes 4 to 6 weeks, I receive the refill of deadly pills the next day. The public, editors and elected officials tell me to seek medical help and get pills to quit me down.
It is OK in society’s eyes to kill U.S. Military disabled veterans. I put it in writing every day yet no one wants to listen. What signs does society want to hear before hindsight becomes clear? As the Marine in NC I live in two worlds. At any time my life can be in the ditches of a place most U.S. Citizens refuse to go. That in your eyes is OK because hindsight tells us we should have refused the politicians commands and let the U.S. Constitution be taken over by Muslims. Can putting the signs in writing get me arrested. What are the signs that you do not want to hear? The VA and NH government are openly trying to kill me is this Hindsight?

Just got out of the Wright-Patt Hospital for a false alarm heart attack and ruling out reaction to N1H1 flu shot when this hit.

BTW: If you do or do not have Heart Disease, if you get the H1N1 flu shot experience severe back or shoulder pain that travels to your heart region and stays there for about a day - it may of may not be a heart attack, but ruling that out I had a reaction to the N1H1 Flu Shot. Once the Air Force docs ruled out Heart failure, they sent me back out on the streets with a reaction to H1N1 - Go figure.

Point: A private physician or hospital would have filed the required report with the CDC on patients who experience negative reactions to H1N1 that are life threatening. The Air Force medical facility didn't even treat me for the symptoms of the reaction let alone do any reporting to CDC. Well at least I didn't go to an Army Hospital. SO MUCH FOR SOCIALIZED MEDICINE!!! Major Hanafin

Anyway, as I was doing battle with socialized medicine (young doctors, their students, and Hospace [another nightmare], this story of a Major acing fellow troops at a military processing center (press refused to use Mental Health, PTSD, or anyting vague related so that the military could continue hiding behind SOCIAL STIGMA as they practive SOCIALIZED MEDICINE).

Sure as hell gave me second and third thoughts, and I'm not a Muslim. However, I am a Retired Major who has opposed the war(s) from get go, not really for any moral, ethical, or religious reasons, but simply because the American people have never been committed to being part of well THE WARS!!!

That said, my last experience with the Air Force at least was one where I had to call a Medical doctor (could care less what rank she was, they don't give a crap about mine), a head nurse (civilian contract), and a Airman tech on the carpet for being incompetent, violating two patients rights, dignity, and privacy (one of them choosing alternatives for dying) so on and so forth.

Heck, that was an Air Force Hospital that rarely sees an Army or Marine combat Vet. (That's another beef I have with the war(s) the lack of shared sacrifice even between the services. Yes, the Air Force has the dirty job of bring the dead home, and even sending security forces to the war zone, but how come military medical capabilities are not combined under one command and share resources???).

When this story broke, my first response was Oh, Shit I should have kept my mouth shut, or they'll put me in the luny bin just to shut me up.

Now all I see is the spin being place on it by the media and damage control instead of getting at the heart of the problem.

What could have been done to prevent such an incident of more importantly what can be done in the future?

Thus far, what I read continues to point towards the Major being right in his assessment about the war(s) being Christian CRUSADES, but extremely wrong in his approach to it.

There is Courage to Resist, quite a few enlisted people and a few officers have done so knowing the war(s) are CRUSADES against Islam (with Muslim taking the place of Communists), however none of them open fire on any military base to prove their point they simply QUIT with many paying the price.

Thus, I agree with those who say get the PC out of reporting on the war(s) and call them what they really are CRUSADES. So what if we tick off a few (precious few) Muslims who want to serve our country. Is their contributions really that significant. However, once we cut off Muslim enlistments what next?

What if a miracle happened and we found ourselves at war with Israel for continuing to spy on us, shot at our Naval Vessels, or even refuse to serve in allied operations with us due to PC. Hell, the only reason Christian troops are on a crusade in the Middle East is

See above links. When you are receiving your retirement check through the treasury of a collapsing economy you don't want them to inject you with anything.

Keep us posted squalene is known to cause the immune system to attack itself. Lupus will most likely be the least of your problems.

I think where you went wrong is believing that Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK by himself, James Earl Ray shot Martin Luther King, jet fuel melts steel and leaves behind thermite traces, Jessica Lynch is the reincarnation of Annie Oakley, Timothy McVeigh is capable of constructing barium bombs (two of them) and his body was not buried or cremated contradicting policy and is nowhere to be found, David Koresh could not have been picked up in Waco where he jogged alone most mornings.

You believe Roosevelt who goaded the Japanese into attacking did not know it was coming, he and the fools around him sipped champagne when they heard the new, the Vietnamese attacked a ship in Tonkin Gulf and the Lusitania was avenged
.

Now they want you to believe that a fellow never trained for combat, medical officer shot about forty people with a handgun in a military base. Hey, maybe next time we will see the storming of Fort Knox. You have to realize, a military base is not a Kentucky fried chicken place, but most of you believe it. Hasan is fresh in from Virginia Tech where a chinese student shot 32 other students. Hasan specializes in mind control combat reset. But suddenly he has morphed into al Queeda!

I have come to believe that the overwhelming majority of Americans will believe anything. It is one of the primary reasons America has attacked most of Europe, China, Korea, South America, Grenada, Panama, Chile, well this could go on forever you fill in the blank and it is called spreading democracy. Unfortunately those dead don't get democracy and to them it matters little who won the war.

Who was it Sinclair Lewis who said when fascism comes to America it will come in the form of a flag wrapped around a cross. Well it is here, our leaders are corporate employees and they are leading the new crusades like you say and little things like the constitution and bill of rights are now minor annoyances. Matter of fact if you talk to much about this or you are a veteran you are to be looked upon with suspicion.

It is not that I don't have a lot of compassion for Americans because they have been fed Fluoride, mercury, teflon, aluminum, monosodium glutinate, aspartame, chlorine and well fill in the blank once again. The new flu shots and frankenstein foods are the cutting edge however should speed up the depopulation agenda into warp speed.

No I firmly believe when the U.N. orders our George Town educated generals and troops to begin picking up Americans they are al queeda, our military and your neighbor will not only believe it but will help them. They will relish this new found sense of authority and intrigue. They will glow in their new role rooting out hippies, liberals, conservatives, rag heads, nazis, commies and whatever the call on their cellphone labels you as.

They can do that now you know, no lawyers, no reason, no warrant. That is not what my uncle died for and my father was wounded in Germany for. That is not freedom. So stop kidding yourselves you are not fighting any more for freedom. You are fighting for paychecks, big banks, oil companies and Israel.

So spare me the part about they hate our freedom, it is enough to make one puke.

I agree and this generation of 'Americans' has to be the most self-serving, ignorant, greedy and obscene cult of wretches to ever exists in this nation. I am ashamed to share the planet with them. When this nation falls and their stupid asses are marched off to a FEMA detention camp most of them will actually have the nerve to wonder 'how did this happen'. That is whay makes me want to puke. "Those who are IGNORANT of history are doomed to repeat it". You can't teach an imbecile one damn thing.

Here is another theory it is a little more complicated than Mossad psyop the muslims are hiding under your bed however. It will take a couple of minutes to read.

the only question that matters: is it true?

Iran has signed the NPT. As a signatory to the NPT, Iran may rightfully, legally, use nuclear technology for peaceful energy purposes. Iran has submitted to and passed repeated IAEA inspections. The US intelligence community (NIE) does not consider Iran a nuclear threat. Israel refuses to sign the NPT. Israel has an estimated several hundred undeclared nuclear weapons. Russia and China have warned that an attack on Iran will have global consequences. That's the situation in a nutshell. Where to next, people? Where to?

theories and facts about Fort Hood

a loose compilation of things that sort of hang together:

1. excerpt from Christopher Story: Fort Hood: Recovery of the Chinese Currency Boxes

The shootings were staged in order to cover up what was really happening behind the scenes which was as follows:

(1): George H. W. D. V. D. Bush, the head of THE BOX GANG working with the Clintons, had stored some or all of the stolen/diverted 1933 dollar currency Chinese currency boxes referenced in our reports dated 4th and 5th November 2009 at Fort Hood. These boxes form part of the Settlement negotiated with the Chinese parties, who were immediately double-crossed by the Americans.

(2): We do not know at the time of posting whether George Bush Sr. had flown in to Fort Hood from Germany, but as this base is located close to Crawford and other Bush Crime Family locations, we believe this to be HIGHLY PROBABLE.

(3): Whether Bush Sr. flew into Fort Hood to be joined with the stolen/diverted Chinese-sourced currency boxes, or was accompanying stolen boxes on the plane, is not strictly material, because what we DO KNOW is as follows:

(4): An operation was mounted at Fort Hood to CONFISCATE THE STOLEN CHINESE CURRENCY BOXES FROM BUSH SR., which achieved its objective. The currency boxes, forming part of the Settlement that Adolf Schickelbusch sabotaged with the duplicitous assistance of his agent, Chancellor Angela Merkel [see preceding reports], were retrieved.

(5): It is likely that the shoot-out which occurred for public consumption was a diversionary operation masking a parallel shoot-out involving Bush bodyguards and US military, although we cannot confirm this. Certainly, the 'mainstream' media, as usual, is running the wrong story.

(6): The deployment of 500+ heavily armed troops, and the fact that military helicopters were called in, implies a sizeable operation, which would be make little sense in the context of a shooting such as is described in the media. That does not diminish the nastiness and tragedy of the loss of life as reported: but when this operation was planned, loss of life was factored into the equation.

• It’s called cynically: COLLATERAL DAMAGE.

Hours of blogging blah-blah...it can be distilled down to a simple question >
Where does a democracy's military draw the line between political and religious freedom of belief and expression END and the Criminal Investigation Division of the Pentagon and electronic surveillance BEGIN when it comes to protecting our troops and their families from future tragedies like FT Hood ?
Everything else is just begging this question, half truths, opinion, venting, ethnocentric raving and spin.

This sad event was brought to you by your lying government and is yet another False Flag but the sheeple never learn and fall for the same old shit every time!!!! What the hell does it take to get your attention or wake you up? I know thinking and reasoning can be harder than taking the official version, but I suggest you people try. You had better wake up and look reality in the face for you don't have long to make any choices on your own. Hasan was a pasty and you are being lied to. Wake up.
