THE MINORITY CHAMBER OF COMMMERCE INVITES PUBLIC,
EMPLOYERS TO POLICE & SECURITY CAREER FAIR MIAMI 2007

Miami, Florida. Nearly 30 employers representing U.S Federal Recruiters, Local and Statewide Law Enforcement and Security, Government Agencies, the health care industry and community organizations, will take part in The Police & Security Career Expo Miami 2007 on April 27, 2007.

The public is invited to attend the event along with active Military and U.S. Veterans, which will run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Wal*Mart parking lot city of Doral in Miami Dade and it’s free access. 

Businesses interested in participating may do so by contacting Manuel Rodriguez, coordinator of the Minority Chamber of Commerce's Job Placement Services unit, at (305) 418-1904. Employers must register in advance. There is a registration fee.

The event provides an excellent opportunity for Latino and African America College students, High School Seniors and veterans’ members to connect with potential employers. Employers who participate generally are recruiting future employees, or are searching for immediate full-time or part-time workers.

NCOA Host National & Health Services Job Fair at Ft Bragg

The Non Commissioned Officers Association (NCOA), Veterans Employment Assistance (VEA) Department will host a National & Health Services Job Fair on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at the Fort Bragg Officers Club, Building 1-4930 (Armistead & Totten St), Ft Bragg, NC 28310 from 10 am – 2 pm.

Although the NCOA caters to the military community, the job fair is free and open to the public. Over 60 companies will be in attendance and hiring in all industries!

Opportunities for Transitioning Military and Students Available at Space Career Fair

The Fifth Annual Space Career Fair, conducted in conjunction with the 23rd National Space Symposium, is open to undergraduate and graduate students as well as transitioning military. This event provides a unique opportunity for attendees to meet, interact, and possibly interview with the space industry's top companies. Scheduled for April 12, 2007, the Space Career Fair will take place at The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colo. Online registration is available at www.SpaceCareerFair.org. Sponsorship opportunities for the Space Career Fair are also available for interested companies. More than 500 highly qualified applicants are anticipated to attend. The Space Career Fair attracts undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of fields, including Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Business Administration as well as transitioning military personnel.
