President Barack Obama has ordered that all American flags in the U.S. be flown at half-staff through Saturday out of respect for the 31 people who were killed Tuesday in the Brussels murderous attack by radical Islamic terrorists. None of the reported dead were Americans.
Why are all American Flags flying at half-staff for 31 non-Americans and not flying at half-staff for 22 U.S. Military Veterans?
Every day on average an estimated 22 U.S. Military Veterans commit suicide on American soil — and nothing is mentioned nor any honorable respect surrendered by the Commander-in-Chief on their behalf.
In the meantime, the Los Angeles VA police are falsely arresting elderly Veterans for displaying the American Flag on the front fence of the VA in honor of all the men and women who have selflessly pledged their lives to defend our Nation’s Colors over the past two centuries — and the police illegally confiscate their American Flags as “evidence” that they are displaying a “placard, pamphlet, handbill and/or a flyer.”
The foregoing notwithstanding, our American Flags must remain at half-staff every day that U.S. Military Veterans are committing suicide at this catastrophic rate (more than 8,000 annually) until this tragedy of Biblical proportion is reduced dramatically.

War is Hell!
Whether America’s military men and women are fighting a war or trying to heal from fighting a war, it’s always Hell because the war never ends.
When our military Troops go to war, they serve under the Department of Defense as highly trained professional warriors who are equipped with the finest defense weapons in the world to defeat the toughest enemies in the world.
After returning from war, they are to be served by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) with the finest healthcare facilities in the world. But instead of healing from war, America’s military Veterans are fighting some of life’s toughest battles, day by day, just to survive in the country they defended.
Unfortunately, these battles are not fought as a collective and supportive U.S. Military unit, but as one lonely Veteran against the fatted and irreverent bureaucrats of the VA, the second largest bureaucracy in the Federal Government.
To make matters worse, Veterans are not trained to fight a personal “David vs. Goliath” war against our own Government, and they have no weapons of self-defense in these endless and tiring battles.
As time goes on, their warrior and survivor skills diminish and their outlook becomes bleak as their opponent just gets bigger and more powerful — and less considerate.
Tragically, every year more than 8,000 Veterans voluntarily surrender their lives; victims of bureaucratic battle fatigue.
Their solace is found in Plato’s prophetic claim more than 2,500 years ago: “Only the dead have seen the end of the war.”
VA’s Suicide Hotline Dropped 1.4 Million Calls from Veterans – Washington Examiner
How much longer are Veterans Service Organizations — VSOs / American Legion, VFW, Disabled American Veterans, AMVETS, American G.I. Forum, Vietnam Veterans of America, — going to allow VA Secretary Robert A. McDonald to continue disgracing the noble service of our U.S. Military Veterans?
When are they going to demand that President Obama remove him from the public trust?
Mr. McDonald is a complete failure and an International embarrassment and he must immediately resign or be fired — or the silent VSOs must have their Congressional charters pulled and canceled.
Every grateful American Citizen must stand up and speak out …. demanding that our American Flags fly at half-staff every day in honor of the 22 Veterans who take their own lives every day until all potential Veteran suicides are seriously resolved and their lives saved.
