- Vietnam veterans charity dissolved after ‘egregious fraud’. The Rockford charity called VietNow National Headquarters Inc. raised more than $15 million during the past 10 years with appeals to help veterans racked by joblessness and post-traumatic stress disorder. - VA’s Shulkin calls for new, strategic approach to veterans benefits programs. Five days before Veterans Day, the Veterans Affairs Department’s top leader is calling on the veterans community to consider the past 150 years and the vast variety of benefits the department currently provides to those who “have borne the battle” in a completely new way.
- Cheyenne South High student continues painting series for veterans. Some students and staff at Cheyenne’s South High are putting extra work into honoring the community’s veterans. Senior Taryn Harsy, with art teachers Kerri Gentry and Nicole Cameron, is painting the third in a series of Veterans Day paintings South High will distribute to veterans organizations throughout the community.
- Veterans Discuss the Business School Experience. In honor of Veterans Day, our admissions team hosted a panel of 2nd-year MBA student veterans to talk about the application process, life in b-school, and the advantages of military experience in the business world.
