Netanyahu is obviously mad and sad again. He thought that victory was within his grasp when Trump announced that Jerusalem will be Israel’s capital. Now he is realizing that thousands upon thousands of Israelis are rising up against him.
It has been reported that at least 10,000 Israelis have taken to the streets of central Tel Aviv to send a simple message to Benjamin Netanyahu. The message states: “Netanyahu to jail.”[1] Other signs also says, “Bibi is an embarrassment”; “Corrupted, we’re fed up with you,” or “Corrupted, go home” or “Sweeping out the corrupted.”[2] Netanyahu, we are told, is a “crime minister.”[3] Since the mad man is a crime minister, the protesters came “to drive out corruption.”[4]
Amos Levy, a Tel Aviv resident who attended the protest with his 6-year-old son, said: “We love this country. That is why we can’t let corruption continue and why we can’t let our leaders continue to lie to us.”[5]
We obvioulsy have a serious problem here. Netanyahu is being denounced as a wicked person in Israel, but American politicians, most specifically Republican puppets, are praising the man as if he is Simon bar Kokhba or some other Jewish messiah. If any politician even criticizes the mad man in Tel Aviv, he or she will be denounced as an anti-Semite or something equally weird.
Political whore Ann Coulter once declared that she would love America to have a president like Netanyahu.[6] So what would she say to the Israelis who are now chasing the mad man with pitchforks? And doesn’t that tell you something about people like Coulter? Shouldn’t these people be ashamed of themselves by now? Shouldn’t they start apologizing to the American people for licking the boots of the mad man in Tel Aviv?
Moreover, are the Israeli protesters anti-Semites for rising up against Netanyahu’s perpetual corruption? If the answer is no, then why are we being called names for simply addressing basic facts? Does the anti-Semitism card carry any political or intellectual force?
