Press TV interview featuring Kevin Barrett, VT Editor

Trump calls Macron nasty and insulting, says Trudeau is two-faced, and keeps the whole group waiting for him to show up late at the NATO 70th anniversary summit.

Macron says NATO is brain-dead—and he’s right. The alliance has no coherent mission. It needs to be re-thought, if not abolished.

  1. Hope, this “brain dead” gangsta group NATO will have the fate of USSR. Boomerang effect. And Nato deserves it! Let them go to hell. Racketeers and criminals.

    • Andy, I think the big difference between Nato and Warsaw packt was, that Nato sucked the money out of it’s member states around the World, while Soviet send the money to it’s members and satellites around the World. Cuba sunk when the Soviet collapsed, but Nato is sinking Norway at the present day.

    • The idea itself is not bad – to make a military council of states in order to control the military situation of states in the world. But it has to be fair and equal for everyone. Alas, there was a temptation to turn the organization into a military instrument of abuse. What we now see. If such a military organization is to be created, then all countries of the nuclear club should be included in it. And to fight terrorism and radicalism, and not to make a garden scarecrow from China and my country, not to make big money on it. People in our countries are hungry and homeless and unemployed, but they build rockets for crazy money …
Nothing personal – just business. To whom it is the war, and to someone it is the dear mother.
