Report anyone who owns a fake police car or who you suspect owns a blue light. Report anytime you see a suspicious traffic stop, you or others or are confronted by anyone claiming to be a police officer without a badge and business card. Always call 9/11 and report as a potential crime. Let them sort it out.
Fake cops are very dangerous, do not violently confront them but get their license numbers and, when you can safely, photograph their cars. Never stop your car anywhere you feel in danger. If stopped by a strange car, continue slowly, dial 9/11 and explain the situation and where you are (at risk of making an illegal call…).
Stay off the roads at night unless it is an emergency. Always be legally armed. These are very dangerous times.
