VT on the Trump Press Conference: Take your “ultimate authority” and stick it up your enormous fat ass

We are currently being told that Donald will save us all. I have chosen to save myself, by paying as little attention to that degenerate moron as possible.

Donald Trump has ZERO legal authority to tell any state what to do and there are NO provisions of any kind.  Even if we did, does anyone think he is going to be taken seriously now?

Ask the first lady?

Here in Michigan, we are doing our best with absolutely nothing but interference from an out of control Federal government run by gangsters.

Trump’s authority stops at the District of Columbus line. Russia Today:
“New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and five regional governors have banded together to decide when to reopen their economies. The move clashes with President Donald Trump’s insistence on making that call himself.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday, Cuomo announced that he would work together with the governors of New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Rhode Island to decide together when to lift the quarantine measures in their respective states.

Each state will nominate a public health official and an “economic health” official, who will lift restrictions in the region after consulting with the group as a whole. No date was given for the economic restart, with Cuomo stating that the decision will be made “smartly,” based on “the facts” as they present themselves.

All six governors are Democrats, and the decision to ignore federal directions and work together will likely set them up for a showdown with President Trump.

Earlier on Monday, Trump insisted on Twitter that “it is the decision of the president” when to reopen the economy, “and for many good reasons.” Trump has said that he will lift lockdown measures on May 1, a goal considered unrealistic by his own coronavirus task force.

Cuomo defended his decision to go it alone. “Let’s see what the federal government’s plan is,” he told reporters. Trump “left it to the states to close down. Without any guidance really, he took the position that it was the states’ decision.”

‘If they want to change the model, they can change the model,’ he said.

Cuomo’s working group will meet on Tuesday to discuss a date for the reopening. The governor did not suggest a date, but said he wishes to lift the lockdown ‘ASAP.'”

We thought everyone always knew every single bit of this:
Someone on Quora asked “Why do some British people not like Donald Trump?” Nate White, an articulate and witty writer from England wrote the following response:
A few things spring to mind.
Rudy?
Trump lacks certain qualities which the British traditionally esteem.
For instance, he has no class, no charm, no coolness, no credibility, no compassion, no wit, no warmth, no wisdom, no subtlety, no sensitivity, no self-awareness, no humility, no honour and no grace – all qualities, funnily enough, with which his predecessor Mr. Obama was generously blessed.
So for us, the stark contrast does rather throw Trump’s limitations into embarrassingly sharp relief.
Plus, we like a laugh. And while Trump may be laughable, he has never once said anything wry, witty or even faintly amusing – not once, ever.
I don’t say that rhetorically, I mean it quite literally: not once, not ever. And that fact is particularly disturbing to the British sensibility – for us, to lack humour is almost inhuman.
But with Trump, it’s a fact. He doesn’t even seem to understand what a joke is – his idea of a joke is a crass comment, an illiterate insult, a casual act of cruelty.
Trump is a troll. And like all trolls, he is never funny and he never laughs; he only crows or jeers.
And scarily, he doesn’t just talk in crude, witless insults – he actually thinks in them. His mind is a simple bot-like algorithm of petty prejudices and knee-jerk nastiness.
There is never any under-layer of irony, complexity, nuance or depth. It’s all surface.
Some Americans might see this as refreshingly upfront.
Well, we don’t. We see it as having no inner world, no soul.
And in Britain we traditionally side with David, not Goliath. All our heroes are plucky underdogs: Robin Hood, Dick Whittington, Oliver Twist.
Trump is neither plucky, nor an underdog. He is the exact opposite of that.
He’s not even a spoiled rich-boy, or a greedy fat-cat.
He’s more a fat white slug. A Jabba the Hutt of privilege.
And worse, he is that most unforgivable of all things to the British: a bully.
That is, except when he is among bullies; then he suddenly transforms into a snivelling sidekick instead.
There are unspoken rules to this stuff – the Queensberry rules of basic decency – and he breaks them all. He punches downwards – which a gentleman should, would, could never do – and every blow he aims is below the belt. He particularly likes to kick the vulnerable or voiceless – and he kicks them when they are down.
So the fact that a significant minority – perhaps a third – of Americans look at what he does, listen to what he says, and then think ‘Yeah, he seems like my kind of guy’ is a matter of some confusion and no little distress to British people, given that:
• Americans are supposed to be nicer than us, and mostly are.
• You don’t need a particularly keen eye for detail to spot a few flaws in the man.
This last point is what especially confuses and dismays British people, and many other people too; his faults seem pretty bloody hard to miss.
After all, it’s impossible to read a single tweet, or hear him speak a sentence or two, without staring deep into the abyss. He turns being artless into an art form; he is a Picasso of pettiness; a Shakespeare of shit. His faults are fractal: even his flaws have flaws, and so on ad infinitum.
God knows there have always been stupid people in the world, and plenty of nasty people too. But rarely has stupidity been so nasty, or nastiness so stupid.
He makes Nixon look trustworthy and George W look smart.
In fact, if Frankenstein decided to make a monster assembled entirely from human flaws – he would make a Trump.
And a remorseful Doctor Frankenstein would clutch out big clumpfuls of hair and scream in anguish:
‘My God… what… have… I… created?
If being a twat was a TV show, Trump would be the boxed set.

  1. how can you people do nothing but look and not see trump/Flynn/sessions actually made a useful move and exposed them? they didn’t solve all your problems so they get all the blame? I really don’t want to say this but it is pathetic and even contemptible to be finger pointing at him, even if he was a manchurian candidate. the cia just arrested everyone around him and they are making him dance you fools!

  2. While I do agree with every single adjective used to describe the Trump character and I could actually add some of my own to the list, the point that is missing entirely is that American voted this “troll” to be where he is now, so are we going to accept our share of the blame having elected such an incompetent imbecile to the highest office. All this as we are getting ready to make another mistake of biblical proportion to elect yet another cabal character of a Joe Biden a certified deep state agent, a 2nd in command has been. Or, are we going to change this never ending vicious circle of insanity as a nation at some point.

    • Americans or more specifically US voters voted for the image of a showman that they had imagined existed in the real world. That’s the role of Hollywood for you, to create such images like the one that they had created for another conman who had occupied the Oval Office called the Gipper.

You can blame a percentage of the US population for being gullible enough to fall for an image and there were many more in recent history; Schwarzenegger was able to con Californians to fall for his act, not once but twice.

The present cancer which did spread very rapidly with the help of a senseless moron is the extreme right who as usual uses their poor uneducated foot soldiers to take the country to the edge of the abyss. Except this time it went over the edge and Wall Street using the image of Joe Biden will make sure there is no meat left on the bones.

Have you noticed how Sanders is laughing his butt off now that he’s out. For 30 years he tried his best to shake people off of their deep comas.

  3. I rather feel sorry for her. I think she may have been trafficked into the sex industry as a young woman in Eastern Europe. I also think she loathes being with Trump, and is just role-playing at this point. She legitimately loves her child, Baron, and is protective of him.

    • I knew someone who had spent some time some E. European countries, maybe Amsterdam back mid 1980’s. He said things weren’t so good there, you could buy a girl for the whole weekend with half of a chicken

    • Your friend was a bullshitter. Amsterdam is not in Eastern Europe, that’s like saying Canada is in central America. How the hell did he manage to cross the Iron Curtain in the mid 80s? Nowhere in Eastern Europe could you buy a girl for the weekend for half a chicken. God you must be gullible to have believed such crap.

    • Please Ian, do not belittle yourself by feeding the Hasbara Trolls.
Ask yourself: ” Why do the Hasbara Cyber Terrorists love Trump so much?”
      Answer:
      “Anything Bibi wants, Bibi gets”

    • Good point Sarge. You should see the influx of trolls we have had in comments (deleted of course) and emails in the last week or so regarding David Icke, 5G and Chemtrails. Most of them are likely paid trolls, some are just morons who believed the crap the likes of Icke peddle. It’s such a volume of crap thrown our way that it can only be seen as positive confirmation that we are hitting their sore spots with our exposes of some of the more egregious disinfo psyops.

    • No TDS here, David, I sincerely wanted Trump convicted at the impeachment trial, however futile. With regard to Melania Trump and her child, I was thinking more in terms of his having been labeled autistic and held up to ridicule, by some people in gossip media, including Rosie O”Donnell. No matter what I think of Trump, his minor child is innocent. Mothers don’t get merit badges for loving their children, but I honor them, just the same.

    • Duff says Russia is Eastern Europe (one presumes he means the portion of Russia west of the Ural Mountains).

    • Sorry to say but any woman marrying Trump is a act of prostitution, since it is beyond comprehension that any woman above the EMR (educable mentally retarded) level could find Trump attractive, much less love the man.
