Health Editor’s Note: A healthy body normally strikes a balance between blood clotting and anti-clotting. Severe COVID-19 may be responsible for the complication of abnormal blood clotting which can cause strokes or heart attacks. Coronavirus unleashes antibodies (autoantibodies) that by mistake, attack the body’s own cells and cause clots to form. Treatments to control autoantibodies would prevent the group of events that produce these harmful blood clots in people who have COVID-19 and save more lives….Carol
