- Regional VA office cited again for mishandling veterans’ claims. The Veterans Affairs Office of the Inspector General for the third time in seven years determined the Roanoke VA Regional Office mishandled veterans’ disability claims.
- Wreaths put on veterans’ graves as part of nationwide event. Cemeteries are usually places of reflection, but on rare occasions even that solemnity can be added upon. That was case Saturday morning as hundreds gathered at Southern Arizona Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery for the annual Wreaths Across America Day.
