World powers seem to realize that Israel is actually a problem child in the Middle East. The Israeli regime has effectively forced the United States to place draconian sanctions on Iran, and the Trump administration was more than happy to oblige.

But world powers were not going to fret. They back up Iran. It’s been reported that

“Iran’s remaining partners in the 2015 nuclear deal vowed Friday to keep the energy exporter plugged into the global economy despite the US withdrawal and sanctions threat….

“Britain, France and Germany along with Russia and China met with Iran in Vienna to offer economic benefits and assurances that would lessen the blow of sweeping US sanctions announced by Trump. They said they remained committed to the accord and to building up trade and investment links with Iran, including ‘the continuation of Iran’s export of oil and gas’ and other energy products.”



Obviously both Trump and Netanyahu are in big dodos. They are almost certainly going to step up their ideological game, which is to say that they are going to lie again and again.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has stated that the US has tried to summon “a baseless fantasy” in order to drive “”imperialist policy in flagrant violation of international law.”

This is absolutely right. In fact, this imperialist policy was quite vibrant in 1953, when the Anglo-American empire destabilized a democratically elected president by the name of Mossadegh.[1] In fact, the US government has been in the business of overthrowing other governments around the world for at least one hundred years.[2]

With the creation of Israel in 1948, the US government has largely fixated on the Middle East, destroying one country after another for the state of Israel. As we have stated over and over in the past, Iran is right in line with international law, particularly with the non-proliferation treaty. It is Israel that is violating international law. Keep in mind that it was Israeli military historian and prolific writer Martin van Creveld who declared back in 2003:

“We possess several hundred atomic warheads and rockets and can launch them at targets in all directions, perhaps even at Rome. Most European capitals are targets for our air force…. We have the capability to take the world down with us. And I can assure you that that will happen before Israel goes under.”[3]

Iran has never been able to catch up with the Israelis when it comes to making statements like this. In fact, Iran’s position over the past few decades have been quite modest.[4]

But according to the Zionist media and indeed the Trump administration, it is Iran that is the new bad kid on the block. Israel is the land of democracy and freedom, we are told ad nauseam.

We now know that this is not true. In fact, it has never been true. If former Mossad chief Meir Dagan was right in saying that Iran “is very rational,” then we can dismiss the prevailing notion that Iran is suicidal. Dagan also declared that the Israeli government is “reckless and irresponsible.”[5]
