Daily Beast: A new mutant strain of the coronavirus is even more contagious than the versions that spread in the early days of the pandemic, according to a new study by scientists at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
The Los Angeles Times reports the researchers think the new strain can spread faster and make people vulnerable to a second infection after their first. The study was reportedly posted on BioRxiv, a site researchers use to share work before it’s peer-reviewed.
It states that the new strain originated in Europe at some point in February, but quickly spread to the East Coast of the United States and has since become the dominant coronavirus strain around the world.
The scientists said they felt an “urgent need for an early warning” to ensure that vaccines and drugs that are being developed are effective against the mutated strain—and not just the first versions. If confirmed, the findings will raise fears that the virus can mutate and change in the the same way as the influenza virus, which requires a new vaccine every year.

We have developed an analysis pipeline to facilitate real-time mutation tracking in SARS-CoV-2, focusing initially on the Spike (S) protein because it mediates infection of human cells and is the target of most vaccine strategies and antibody-based therapeutics.
To date we have identified fourteen mutations in Spike that are accumulating. Mutations are considered in a broader phylogenetic context, geographically, and over time, to provide an early warning system to reveal mutations that may confer selective advantages in transmission or resistance to interventions.
Each one is evaluated for evidence of positive selection, and the implications of the mutation are explored through structural modeling. The mutation Spike D614G is of urgent concern; it began spreading in Europe in early February, and when introduced to new regions it rapidly becomes the dominant form. Also, we present evidence of recombination between locally circulating strains, indicative of multiple strain infections. These finding have important implications for SARS-CoV-2 transmission, pathogenesis and immune interventions.

Here in the eight (8) Nordic countries*, the alternate view that there are several different strains of Corona gets no press nor media coverage, aside from a few enlightened voices in Suomi/Finland.

This appears to be a confirmation of an earlier VT story stating that the virus strain affecting the eastern US came via Europe, whereas the strain which started in the western US was the Wuhan version.
If the anti malarial drug Hydroxychloroquine, which has been used for many years now and has proven to be effective, is now found to be dangerous because it causes heart problems it then begs the question how is that this problem is now only coming up? And if it is then why haven’t this been documented many years ago?
It came up nearly two months ago in clinical trials in Sweden. Iit couldn’t have been known years ago as CV19 wasn’t around then.

European virus = bioweapon targeting Persians, which hit city if Qom first of February.
Qom home of underground nuclear base coincidently.
“Virus” mutated and mutates rapidly, because it’s man-made in laboratory.
Originally only targeted Persians or Arabs, but lost this “designer” feature after a few weeks.
Iran perhaps no1 target all the time knowing Pompeo and Trump, Wuhan just experiment to see how it goes with weaker strain China has already beat.
In the days of the Shah, that base in Qum was an underground helicopter base, The exit was of great breadth, but with a curvature. Bell Helicopter and also the headquarters of a logistics company best known for its refrigirators in Baltimore should have full records and blueprints.
That “logistics company” was Westinghouse Electronics.
The facilities near Friendship Airport morphed into Northrup Grumman.
