With the presidential election less than a month away rumors abound about what, if any, new restrictions will be placed on gun ownership by the new president. In reality, the president can only make very minor changes in the administration of our gun laws. It would literally take an act of Congress to write new laws and this is not likely to happen. However, these rumors have created a few shortages in the availability of guns and gun parts. So far, the shortages are much less extreme than those of a few years ago, but Mike has been paying more money for many of our parts and some specific parts are not available. So far, we have chosen to absorb those higher costs and not pass them along, but this can’t go on indefinitely. Price increases are coming, so if you are on the fence about a purchase now is the time to buy.
 
Note for people who live in California – Currently, most of the AR platform rifles (barrel length 16 inches or longer) can be made California compliant for an additional $20. The AR pistols can not be shipped there.

Sig Sauer P-226 in .40 S&W

We have one Sig Sauer P-226 that was a police trade-in. It has the standard single / double action. (Not the DAK) and is in excellent condition. It shows no holster wear and appears to have been fired very few times. The SA/DA model is not usually available as a police trade as most police departments use the DAK model. (double action only – Kellerman)
It comes with one 12 round factory magazine and a factory Sig case and we will throw in a paddle holster for free with this one. We only have one available and our supplier has sold out so it may be awhile before these become available again. Mike would keep this one for himself, but he already has one like it in his personal collection. He says that this one is in nicer condition than his.

Recently we were able to acquire a small quantity of vintage Colt M-16 stripped upper receivers that were removed from decommissioned US military M-16s,
We coupled these vintage upper receivers with all new other parts to create as close as we can get to a clone of a Vietnam era M-16. Of course, this rifle only has a semi-automatic mode. We can also build this with a modern style adjustable stock if that is your preference.

AK-47 Polish Under folder in 7.62×39

We started this build with an original military Polish AK-47 under folding rifle. We added a new American made barrel, an American made receiver and an American made Tapco trigger group to produce this custom rifle.  The original rifle was built for everyday full auto fire military use and is much stronger than the new American made AKs. Of course, it is now setup as a legal semiautomatic only rifle. It can be fired with the stock extended or folded. (check your local laws to be sure this is legal in your area) It comes with a 30 round magazine and meets 922R compliance laws.

This AK-74 is unlike any other AK you may encounter. Everything about it is custom from the quad rails to the Magpul Zhukov stock to the CQB 558 holographic sight. This began as a Bulgarian AK-74 (5.45×39 round) but bears little resemblance to the original rifle. We started by using a new American made receiver and barrel, added a American made Tapco G-2 trigger group, but we did not stop there. We then put on a Magpul Zhukov stock which is extendable and folds. (Rifle can be fired with the stock folded) This is a much sought after premium stock. We replaced the front handguard with a custom quad rail that we used to attach a front handgrip with a pop out bipod and a CQB 558 holographic sight. We finished it off by adding a 40 round magazine and a custom soft pistol grip. All of this makes for a light weight, easy to handle rifle capable of spitting lead as fast as you can pull the trigger.
Mike likes this rifle so much he is threatening to keep it for himself, but I think he can be talked out of it.

The AR pistol has proven itself to be, perhaps, the most versatile and enjoyable platform available. Note that this is technically a pistol and ownership falls under that category. Make sure you are allowed to own such a thing in your locality. We began with a premium “Wylde” barrel, chrome lined and went full premium all the way. We added scope matched to expected performance and mounted it for perfect balance. Set down to 5x, this gets a sight picture easily and can hit a tin can at 150 meters in 2 seconds.
