Trump Burns US Intelligence, Mattis Nowhere to Be Found

The Republicans may have decided to take the Trump Presidency down finally as the Washington Post reports on Trump providing classified information to the Russian ambassador and Russian foreign minister during the meeting they held last week. Did Trump burn US Intelligence sources and hand Russia critical intelligence information that could be used against the US?

Listen to this morning’s Democracy Now episode critically, as Amy Goodman said “After campaigning for the Presidency vowing to protect the nation’s secrets, President Trump is facing a major new scandal. The Washington Post reports he revealed highly classified intelligence to Russian diplomats at the White House. Even Senate Republicans are now warning Trump is in a downward spiral.”

Are the Republicans and the political establishment becoming more afraid that a real investigation may lead to more uncomfortable relationships, including those between Kosher Nostra and Federal Court judges as well as war on terrorism “informants” such as Felix Sater, those with cooperation agreements who have been given a free pass to commit more criminal activity? Trump may now be more of a liability than a benefit, and the Republicans want to make sure they hold on to power, despite the fact that 2016 election may be proven as fraudulent and influenced through the ongoing investigation.

“The President wasn’t even aware of where this information came from,” said National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster. Who was in charge of warning Trump about the consequences of providing Russia with the intelligence information? Was Russia collecting on a debt during their visit with Trump? Where is the Secretary of Defense, James Mattis? Shouldn’t he have warned Trump about Russia’s possible intentions?



Israel was the “source” of the information. Was this a true test that Trump failed, that will cost his “Presidency?” Who is to blame for Trump’s stupidity?

Maybe Mattis is not in front of the camera, but surprisingly, his cell phone number was leaked to the public yesterday, accidentally of course.
