US using extortion to block Russian arms sales – Imagine that

US warns Iraq of ‘consequences’ if it buys Russian S-400 missile systems

Iraqis snag a young boy ISIS suicide bomber

[ Editor’s Note: Well it is finally out in the open. Russia has a better missile defense system that countries want to buy, so the US regime reveals its true Mafia colors, “Buy from someone else at your own peril”. Sounds to me kind of like the pitch you would get from some ISIS folks.

Can you feel the love in that, folks? I don’t. I feel the knife blade going in an inch between my ribs to send me a message. Might this be the real America coming out of the closet? For all those that never got the “Unipolar tag” this is a good example of what it is.

Dear White House, I don’t think any of the countries below are going to be buying the F-35s either, even the ones that don’t work that you might give a discount on. They may have this crazy idea that, being free democratic countries, they can make their own defense procurement decisions. Imagine that.

God knows I hate to quote Sara Palin, but I think her infamous adage that “You can’t put lipstick on a pig” might someday be used to describe what our country is becoming, and at its own hand. The Founding Fathers are rolling over in their graves … Jim W. Dean]

After all the Iraqi people have suffered at the hands of the US, we tell them that they owe us?

– First published … February 23, 2017

The United States has warned Iraq, among a number of other countries, of the consequences of extending military cooperation with Russia, and striking deals to purchase advanced weaponry, particularly the S-400 surface-to-air missile defense systems.

US State Department spokeswoman Heather Neuert said on Thursday that Washington has contacted many countries, including Iraq, to explain the significance of the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA), and possible consequences that would arise in the wake of defense agreements with Moscow.

On August 2, 2017, US President Donald Trump signed into law the CAATSA that imposed sanctions on Iran, North Korea, and Russia. Neuert said she did not know whether Iraq and Russia have finalized an accord on the S-400 missile systems.

The remarks came only a few days after Saudi Arabia’s Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper reported that Baghdad is planning to buy Russian-made S-400 surface-to-air missile system from Moscow.

There are also reports that Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi has tasked a team of advisers from the Iraqi Ministry of Defense and National Security Council to negotiate the purchase of the missile systems with Russian officials.

Earlier this month, Chairman of the Defense Committee of the Russian Federation Council, Colonel General Viktor Bondarev, named Syria, Iraq, Sudan and Egypt as the potential buyers of the defense systems.

Last week, Chief Executive Officer of Rostec, Russia’s state-owned corporation for promoting the development, production and export of high-tech industrial products, stated that Moscow is ready to sell its air defense systems to any country with security concerns.

  1. Think I read in the last couple of weeks of a US official stating that they had stopped a Gulf state from buying the S-400.

Then they make a poor country like Romania, desperate for infrastructure money, spend $1B on MLRS which they need like a hole in the head.

  2. Sanctions by crooks and thugs isn’t worth spit. Carry on with business, they’ve no right telling you what to do from zio headquarters on the Potomac.

Nothing to encourage sales of weapons on the black market than refusing to allow sales above board, on board yachts, shady souk or teeming bazaar . How wonderfully secure all Americans must feel in their beds when the nuclear alarms begin to wail, knowing the government bilked them on an anti-nuclear system that works, unlike the ones we have that … well, we’re still doing tests and besides no nukes have hit the US to date.
Well, look at what the Knesset would have us believe, the non-existent pile of Israeli nukes kept at Dimona. A contradiction in terms surely! The nukes only exist if you can breach what is sure to be a mightily stringent security to cast your eyes on them.
Mordechai Vanunu might as well have stated they were kept at Vanuatu when he attempted to lift the lid off Israel’s cache (pronounced ‘cash’), a no-no with considerable jail time attached. Jesus Christ came down the road back in the day offering a verifiable and delirious, sky-high haven for a little moral restraint and belief in the Holy Spirit, God the Father and Jesus Himself. Not too much to ask, but was taken to task and Calvary, crucified but still got an honest thief on board: “This day thou wilt see me in Paradise.” Three days later if he didn’t resurrect! And still they wont be honest about Dimona which, like the miraculous Christ is established beyond doubt and all Rabbi-contrived contradiction.

  4. These other countries must unite against the virtually infinite sink of borrowed and printed fake dollars the U.S. uses to destroy the planet with. That can’t last forever as history proves. Without all that fake money the U.S. is nothing but a paper tiger. Put aside your differences and bring the paper tiger to the ground. You can and will defeat these crooks without a conscience running the U.S. today from Israel.
