  1. You build that wall and the Troubles with a capital T will start again. The youth hardly remember; but their Dads and Mums will remind them. It can be a long way from Belfast to Dublin.

  2. Right on Gordon and JohnZ: The Democratic Unionist Party holding May tethered loosely to the ‘hitching rail’ by 10 Downing Street also happens to be a party that was against the Good Friday agreement also known as the Northern Ireland peace process. The agreement was established following a plebicite where the people voted and not the various parties in that Six County statelet. There is every danger that may’hem will result from a hard Brexit as Northern Ireland becomes the hub of illegal movement of goods out of Britain and into the EU (Ireland). The IRA and Protestant groups will be in it up to their necks vying with international gangsters as Belfast and Derry become cities akin to Mexican cartel towns on the US border. On a national level, the Republic of Ireland will have to renegotiate any and all agreements signed between the countires. We ain’t seen nothing yet with the smallest party, arguably, in the UK holding the 99% hostage to fortune. Where else could that possibly happen, I wonder – hhhmmmmm!!! Think 1%.
