I’m still planning to die before I get old….
The 20th of this month was the anniversary of Scot Halpin playing drums after Keith Moon passed out. He played for three songs in a live concert at the Cow Palace. Talk about right place right time.
Lifehouse Project, the one that Pete Townsend perhaps never got finalized. In my opinion the best and the most high flying Rock compliation (n)ever made. Not just Who’s Next album, but there’s lots of material more like Join Together, Relay, Pure and Easy etc. that was supposet to be in the Lifehouse. The Who doesn’t hide anything, like great bands as Genesis hides behind complicated rhythms (Supper’s Ready for example), Pink Floyd behind mental problems and Yes behind complete weirdom in their music.
