New York (CNN)A Canadian cartoonist’s illustration of President Donald Trump playing golf over the bodies of two drowned migrants went viral Wednesday. Two days later, Michael de Adder said on Twitter that he had been let go by a publishing company in New Brunswick, Canada.

De Adder’s illustration depicted Trump asking the two dead migrants, “Do you mind if I play through?”
The cartoon refers to the image of Oscar Alberto Martínez and his 23-month-old daughter, Angie Valeria, lying face down in water surrounded by reeds. The two drowned while attempting to cross the Rio Grande River to get into the United States.
“The highs and lows of cartooning. Today I was just let go from all newspapers in New Brunswick,” De Adder tweeted. He later clarified that he had technically been under contract to work for Brunswick News Inc., and wasn’t an employee who could be fired.

  2. This great piece of inspiring art work shows again that a picture is worth a thousand words. The only change I would have made is to remove the fake hairpiece showing Israel Lover Liar Trump years younger than he really is in body and mind. If one probes further below the ugly bald skin of his skull one would find a void with no functioning brain or conscience; basically that of a mentally ignorant dead person whose parents never took him to the Statue of Liberty in his own home town all his life! He obviously has no, zero, concept of the meaning of this priceless monument given to us by the great country of France. Expletive deleted Trump is an embarrassment to himself, is parents and to our once great country. He should do us all a favor and resign today.     • I mostly agree. But I think Hilda helped set the honey trap for the coup that put “a plan to attack 7 countries in 5 years” at the top of the Pentagone and ALL of the US government….then they did the motivating event….but have had that removed from VT. I had this dream that Trump might expose them and accidentally clean up our government. Nope.
