Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad has harshly denounced the United States for assassinating Iranian commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and for resorting to targeted killings whenever it feels right.

Addressing reporters on Tuesday, Mohamad said the US drone attack on Soleimani had been against international law.

He urged Muslim countries to unite to protect themselves against external threats.

“The time is right for Muslim countries to come together,” Mahathir said.

“We are no longer safe now. If anybody insults or says something that somebody doesn’t like, it is all right for that person from another country to send a drone and perhaps have a shot at me,” the Malaysian prime minister said.

  1. From this shameful sad event, Don POTUS may have sparked a union of Muslim countries. This could lead to a more Peaceful planet. In an attempt to sew chaos in the Middle East there is a strong chance Agent Orange has done the opposite We may see beauty in unity and resolve for a better, stronger and more loving world. Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad is right to call for such unity. His age wisdom and sharp mind at 95 in contrast to the Criminal-in-Chief of the USA at 80 exemplify the great plasicity of the brain. If one nourishes nurtures and trains ones mind it has incredible power to grow. The opposite is true when the mind is not cared for and taken to task it reverts back to that of a babies, noisy, chaotic and imprecise. Deterioration Trumps.

This drone assassination exposes the insanity of our technology. We are not far from, if the capability doesn’t already exist, the ability to anonymously take out or disable anyone who can be located by their smartphone -by that very phone.

What is the punishment for breaking the international law against assassinations?

  2. This man is 94 years old, and has some serious cajones! Fantastic! Carol Duff wrote a feature on him last week.
