Mercenaries sponsored by Turkish Occupation resumed their crimes against locals and their properties, as they set fire to wide areas of farms in many villages in Tal-Tamer and Abu-Rasin in Hasaka countryside.
Local sources told SANA reporter in the region that “groups of the pro-Turkish mercenaries on Sunday morning, set fire to many wheat and barley fields in Al-Dawadiyah, Mulla Nuri, Al-Arisha, Al-Jameelia, and Abdul Salam and Al- Azeeziya villages in Tal-Tamer and Abu-Rasin in Hasaka countryside”.
According to locals of the mentioned villages, the reporter clarified that “fires spread quickly due to the winds and burned more than 20,000 dunums of wheat and barley fields which are still burning till now and spreading to burn more farms”.
In 19th of this May, many fires occurred in farms in villages of Tal-Tamer countryside due to the mortar attacks by Turkish regime-backed mercenaries, just hours after a fire broke out near a Turkish occupation point in the countryside of Ras Al-Ayn which caused fire to break out in wheat and barley fields in villages of Ras Al-Ayn city in Hasaka northwestern countryside.

Syrian MP Dr. Nabil Toumeh stated that “legal action must be taken against US led coalition for burning wheat and barely yields.” “ Syria, who has won the military war, is punished by the US for achieving a landscape victory against terror gangsters and groups,” he added.
“The US believes that depriving the Syrian people of their basic nutrition will bring them to a state of despair and break their will. I do not think that their dreams will come true,” dr. Toumeh said. “The US who has imposed various sanctions, including the Caesar law to be implemented soon, aims primarily at deepening the siege and driving the country to a verge of collapse,” Dr. Toumeh concluded.
An Eye witnesses Told VT that US forces used Napalm thermal balloons to burn Syrian basic crops. The reason is to replace the natural wheat, barely and corn by genetically modified crops as they did in Iraq.
Someone told VT “the empire which is dying believes that this is the final nail it can pierce in Syria’s coffin.” It remains to be seen.
