[ Editor’s Note: Brad Raffensperger is emerging as one of the heroes of the 2020 election. He’s a VT guy at heart. He never gets flustered or deflected, and he doesn’t take crap from anybody, including his fellow Georgia Republicans, with Lindsey Graham thrown in as a bonus.
I can already smell the two Repub GA Senator contestants making “The Steal” part of their campaigns to rile up the base. Hence Lindsey Graham was trying to steer Sec. of State Mr. Raffensperger into shaving some Democratic votes.
Sure, he thought he could couch it in a way where he would have deniability. Long time political pros have that down to a science. Mr. Raffensperger had already debunked the Venezuelan ‘influenced’ Dominion voting machine company rigging charges.
The State had a forensic security company come in for testing, where they even examined the code for any hacking changes. They found nothing.
But then Raffensperger went on the offensive against his fellow Repubs like Doug Collins running for the Senate, calling him a liar and a charlatan.
He next used his microphone to let the whole state know and those out of state that were planning to relocate to Georgia temporarily to vote in the Senate runoff, that they might find themselves housed in a state prison for election fraud.
He then twisted the knife a bit more, saying that anyone involved with in-state organizing such an effort would also be charged with conspiracy to commit election fraud, with jail time and $25,000 fines per count (each influenced voter would be a count). I just love this guy. He’s VT material … Jim W. Dean ]

Trump just fired via Twitter Christopher Krebs, DHS Director of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security for claiming the election was “the most secure in US history”. Unreal. He needs to be removed from office now!
The bad news:Trump doesn’t give a shit about the country. The good news: He doesn’t give a shit about the Republican Party, either.
Edward, say election was “the most secure” is at least overstated….
