  3. Street theater like this is hardly an insurrection. If that’s all that Trump has up his sleeve for a “national emergency” there is no hope for him to declare martial law. It has to be something big and terrible, like a new 9/11 this time blamed on Iran. I’m sure Israel is working on it.
