America Doomed Unless Trump’s are Arrested for January 6 (Kirschner video)

Donald Trump and others encouraged, instigated and incited the riot at the US Capitol on January 6. Worse yet, Trump made sure there were no executive branch law enforcement resources deployed to protect those in the Capitol building (given that the US Capitol Police are an agency controlled by Congress, not the executive branch).

Trump, Don Jr., Rudy Giuliani and others incited the crowd to march on and, in a very real sense, attack, the US Capitol, putting EVERYONE in the building – janitorial staff, administrative staff, members of Congress and even Vice President Pence – at imminent risk of serious injury or worse.

There generally are three ways to initiate a criminal case: a probable cause arrest, an arrest warrant and/or a grand jury indictment. Here’s an explanation of the difference among the three and why an arrest warrant is the best approach at this moment in time for Trump and the others.

  2. If we cannot arrest a sitting president, then we are not a nation of laws. We are a Interim Monarchy.

  3. We’re in exactly the same place we were in the days after 9/11. The “official” narrative of that awful event was that 19 Arabs armed with boxcutters led by Osama bin Laden carried out the attack. We “knew” that because this narrative came into being fully-formed within hours, including pictures of all the attackers plastered all over the MSM. That became the pretext for all the wars of this century.

    Here’s hoping that we won’t have to wait for decades to know who the real perps of 1/6 are. Here’s hoping that we won’t be duped into jumping off the cliff into another f-ing war again. Maybe we’ll pay attention to facts and evidence this time around instead of to crazy emotions and preconceptions.

  5. I believe no arrests will happen as its the same stand down of our institutions during and after 9/11 however, I really hope that I am wrong and that our Federal Family steps up and does their jobs.

    The flag was at half mast in my little town did the donald order that for our fallen officer? Even the lowest postal worker whom got shot up on his little job had the flag at half mast.

    Speaking of many Evangelicals whom support tRump as Dylan said it best: “the enemy I see wears a cloak of decency” however, don’t blame all of them for our troubles as evangelicals believe that the salt preserves the soup.

    What we need is good people to will this republic forward. Like the gentleman in the video.
