VT: When Officer Nicholas Reardon shot Makiyah Bryant…

So where do we take this.  Well, tonite Columbus released the footage without the fake darkening and cut back resolution.

It clears Officer Reardon.  Makiyah was charging, almost airborne, another girl, ready to kill her with a knive.

You can see it now.  There was no time to do anything but shoot.



We love laying into cops…and were working on what Columbus released to us yesterday, footage they altered.

Well, this time….it was a good shooting.

We are sorry the girl is dead.  We want the whole story.  We want to know what kind of person Makiyah was when she wasn’t out of her mind with rage….

Time we all took a deeper look.

Simply put, the officer could do nothing other than shoot her.  She was one second away from murdering another girl.  This was a good shoot.

VT stands corrected.

  1. Sorry but no shoots are good shoots.
    Killing with a “good shot” an Iraqi soldier, or Muslim terrorist or Vietcong fighter or an “Injun” is a good thing if they are trying to kill you because you are trying to kill them.
    If a cop pulls a gun on you, points it at you, that means they are trying to kill you in the mind of one having the gun pointed at you. So why not kill the cop first with a knife if you have one at the ready, to save your own life? (the mind of Makiyah at the time)
    Some one coming at you with knife means you get the hell out of there and/or get out of the way, try to get them to put the knife down from a distance if your goal is that, NOT “stand your ground” and shoot them if they get any closer, or lunge at you airborne or not, or just “brandish” a knife, or reach for one.
    Only if you carry a gun can you kill with a gun and the pigs should not be carrying guns at all is the issue in my sick mind.

  3. Shoot with what?

    As Odell said, why do we give cops 15ft tasers again?

    Why are police so afraid of Black children (if you think cops had little time here, look how fast they shot 12 year old Tamir Rice!), but not White men swinging axes, brandishing guns, and guys who JUST murdered two women and a child, yet who is allowed to run around and attack another – an elderly man and potentially take his truck and any weapons in it – with NO SHOTS FIRED?
