The case accuses James of violating the civil rights of Trump and the Trump Organization

[ Editor’s Note: We all knew this was coming, as it is Trump’s standard counterattack on beginning new prosecutions. I would bet my two cents that the New York judiciary is tired of Trump trying to make them look like fools, even after so many years of the same tactic, to roll the red carpet out for him now.

In addition to all the Federal and other State courts, the New York courts know this is a moment in history where all will be noticed and remembered what they did during the Trump period, and will be on their legacies. The sixty failed court challenges on the alleged ‘stolen election’ was a strong hint on where the judges’ heads are at. In short, Trump’s strategy has always been to sue to get what he wants.



My question would be that with the Republican campaign committee picking up Trump’s Insurrection legal bills, will we be seeing the committee paying for his business criminal charges before he was president?

At the end of the day, Trump is legally a ‘dead man walking’. Sure he can delay things, but until he is locked up, the man is a non stop crime wave. That so many people don’t seem to care, including many evangelicals, is a sad reflection on American democracy.

Political corruption has always been an epidemic here, and the voters were too easy to get sucked into the left versus right distraction, which gave the political crooks the freedom they needed to blow smoke and keep everybody fighting each other.

We are now at the point where the Trumper mob is the major national security issue that threatens not just us, but future generations. Thus ends my cheery missive for today… Jim W. Dean ]

Can you believe it…more criminal charges on Trump?

Former President Donald Trump is suing New York Attorney General Letitia James in a bid to thwart her ongoing investigations into his business practices.

The suit,… argues that James’ history of anti-Trump statements and her Democratic Party ties have prompted a series of “baseless” probes into Trump, his business and his family members.

… “The investigations commenced by James are in no way connected to legitimate law enforcement goals, but rather, are merely a thinly-veiled effort to publicly malign Trump and his associates. Her mission is guided solely by political animus and a desire to harass, intimidate, and retaliate against a private citizen who she views as a political opponent,” the 30-page complaint says.

…”We will use every area of the law to investigate President Trump and his business transactions and that of his family as well,” James told NBC News. “We want to investigate anyone in his orbit who has, in fact, violated the law.”

…“The Trump Organization has continually sought to delay our investigation into its business dealings and now Donald Trump and his namesake company have filed a lawsuit as an attempted collateral attack on that investigation,” James said.

  1. I didn’t vote for James, because the Cuomo Oligarchy, endorsed her over Zephyr Teachout , who is not someone to play favorites. We have a power vacuum in NY, and I’m not confident that it is getting a lot better. Our current Governor, Hochul is directly tied to Delaware North, as is the rep for 27 district Jacobs (actually the owners family), and these two are pushing for fast track negotiations to bilk 500 million from taxpayers and funnel it to multi-billionaire Pegula who owns the Bills and has contracts with Delaware North. Any (major) builder in NYC and beyond, must go through Cuomo’s buddies. We are getting one Oligarchy for another. Zephyr Teachout would not put up with any of this crap. This will be an interesting fight. The Dems will show their true hand if nobody cries foul, in the stadium deal. This could actually lead to more districts going red. Buffalo just elected a mayor, that lost in the primary and ran anyway. He got money from somewhere. Jacobs took over Chris Collins old district, after he was arrested.

    For the clown parade to maintain potency, Trump must stay on his feet, giving the appearance of giving ’em hell, harry.

    • The Guardian is reporting that Trump does not like the bad publicity, thinks those taking the 5th are advertising the criminal activity was involved, he is worried about losing the archives case that could finish off with the material there, and that the January 6th committee definitely has on the table a criminal referral in mind for Trump if they feel they can support it with a lot of testimony.
