The Russian army said that its troops launched an offensive in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region, where fighting has intensified after months of an almost frozen front. In its daily report, the Russian defense ministry said that its forces had seized ‘more advantageous lines and positions.’ Governor said that the Russian forces have launched over 160 shelling attacks in the region overnight.
