Trump to pull out of UN arms trade treaty

[ Editor’s Note: Trump was promoting an empty bag to the NRA convention with his latest fake news event. The UN Arms treaty was carefully written to not threaten NRA gun holders, yet they got conned that it was a threat as they are addicted to that state of affairs for what otherwise might be dull lives for many of them.

As for the treaty being amended in the future, language that was written into was any changes would only apply to those nations that ratified them. So far I am the only one I have seen so far to point out the con. 

The other media seemed focused on how best to use the story to generate readership, so hence the gun fear porn track they took.



Shakespeare was onto this scam long ago with his famous line, “Methinks this is much to do about nothing”, and I wholeheartedly agree, next crisis please, and give me two scoops… JD ]

While Trump thinks it’s macho to back out of all of these treaties, what is he going to say when asked what is the point in signing any agreement with him when he has proven that it represents no commitment upon him whatsoever?

There will be a political cost for the Trump agreement circus if his base ever wakes up from its slumber.
