The Jan. 6 panel’s on a hot streak against Trump World. Now what?

…from Politico

[ Editor’s Note: We have seen Trump trying to launch new attacks to deter focus of the success of the January 6 Committee. The evidence of that was clearly seen in his call that he would pardon all the Jan 6 rioters if elected.

This was a clear signal to those arrested and those about to be, to hang tight and not flip because Trump would come to their rescue when he is reelected.

He’s even gone to war with “these horrible prosecutors”, classic Trump trying to demonize law enforcement that serves the people over his interest.

Another instigator in his current counterattack was due to one of the Republican state committee chairs that was instrumental in one of the fake elector lists, quickly deciding to cooperate with the DoJ.

You could almost hear the groan from all the other co-signers of those silly documents after being sold that it was a no risk deal, ‘only to be used if needed’. Where there is one flipper, there will probably be two or three.

As Glenn Kirshner has described in his many videos, the DoJ was building from the bottom up to construct a solid case of a massive conspiracy to throw over the election so all the grifters could continue sucking on the public teat.

They also wanted to remain under Trump’s immunity umbrella, which he advertised he would use for any of this key people, and did.

The best deterrent at the end of the day is a large number of sedition charges. Frankly that would be a nightmare of litigation, but a lot of these people are old, and 20 years for sedition is a virtual death sentence for them.

The smart ones will rat out the others, where we have a long history of federal prosecutors not wanting to do criminal jury trials, despite all the paper evidence, without insider witnesses to verify it all. Convictions are then a slam dunk… Jim W. Dean ]

The select panel started work shrouded in worry that Trump and his allies would succeed in stonewalling them. That’s drastically changed amid the firehose of evidence it’s collecting.

…“We want the public to understand just how close we came to a very different result and that democracy was in danger,” said Rep. Pete Aguilar (D-Calif.), one of the committee’s seven Democrats, in a phone interview.

The select panel started work shrouded in worry that Trump and his allies would succeed in stonewalling them. That’s drastically changed amid the firehose of evidence it’s collecting.

In fact, House lawyers say they’re discussing deemphasizing some of their court battles against Trump allies because they’ve been obtaining the necessary information from other sources.

“We’re talking to so many people. So many witnesses are providing material and providing information,” House General Counsel Doug Letter said in federal court on Friday. “So many times we find, ‘Oh, we just got the information we needed from somebody else.’”

…One of Meadows’ top aides, Ben Williamson, spoke to the committee for hours last week, according to a person familiar with the situation not authorized to speak on the record.

  1. It sounds like the Prosecution (The United States of America)
is literally “buried” in Documentary Evidence!
It will take them months to investigate.
