As stated in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, all statements by representatives of the Kiev nationalist regime about the “rocket attack” allegedly committed by Russia on April 8 at the Kramatorsk railway station are a provocation and are absolutely untrue.

“On April 8, the Russian armed forces did not have any fire missions in the city of Kramatorsk and were not planned,” the Russian ministry said in a statement.
According to Eduard Basurin, Russia has the technical ability to determine where the strike came from, and he hopes that “intelligence will tell who was directly behind the button and pressed this start button.”

The Ministry of Defense has already established that the strike was carried out by a missile division of the Ukrainian armed forces from the area of ​​​​the settlement of Dobropolye, 45 kilometers southwest of the city.

“The purpose of the Kiev regime’s attack on the railway station in Kramatorsk was to disrupt the mass exodus of residents from the city in order to use them as a“ human shield ”to defend the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as in many other settlements of Ukraine,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian troops have fired more than 250 shells and mines on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic alone.

“The areas of 10 settlements of the Republic fell under shelling. As a result of the Ukrainian aggression, 23 civilians, including one child, were injured, the People’s Militia of the DPR said in a statement.

In particular, the administration and the kindergarten of the city of Yasinovataya were shelled, 10 rockets from the Grad were fired at Aleksandrovka. A school in Rubizhne, Lugansk People’s Republic, where humanitarian aid was being distributed, was shelled. According to eyewitnesses, seven people were killed.

– There’s a dilemma here. We must either refuse to save civilians and destroy these batteries, and then, when they are deprived of the opportunity to fire at people, but will resist our troops, despite the loss of civilians, brutally destroy the fortified area in which the residential building is located.

“SP”: – Why was such a blow to Kramatorsk needed?

“It was clearly inflicted with the sole purpose of inciting civilians to resist the Russian armed forces. They (Ukrainian authorities – ed.) blame Russia for this blow. This is a provocation aimed at binding the inhabitants of Kramatorsk with blood, inducing them to fight with Russia.

These shellings of Donbass, Luhansk region also aim to tie the blood of 62 thousand people who are sitting in the fortified area near the Donbass.

“SP”: – Why, despite the destruction of a huge number of weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, such serious shelling of Donbass still continues? Can something be done?

– It is impossible to immediately break through the defense in the Donbass region, which was created for eight years, without encirclement, and it was not enough to encircle the troops.

Air defense operates there, but it mainly protects that part of the Donbass that was not originally captured by Ukrainian troops. When they withdraw, there is still no air defense there, and they are hitting, including on those settlements that have been liberated. Air defense is good but does not give one hundred percent protection.
