For far too long the “revealed”/hearsay religions have avoided answering honest and objective questions regarding the contents of their “holy” books. It is only by not having to answer these questions in a rational manner that we have ancient, ungodly, brutal and nonsensical “revealed”/hearsay religions thriving in the 21st century. It’s time to start asking these important questions and demanding rational answers.
All of the current presidential hopefuls, with the exception of Bernie Sanders, pander to Christians and Jews. For example, Ted Cruz January of this year said he is a Christian first and an American second. This is from a man who wants to be President of the United States. All of the candidates for president, except for Bernie Sanders, jump through hoops for the overly powerful Israel lobby. (I’m not promoting Sanders, I’m just stating facts to the best of my ability. Personally, I believe the powers that be use elections to give people the illusion that they have a say in things while election after election nothing of substance changes.)
US Democratic politician Hillary Clinton distributed an essay she and her top advisers had written for Jews who would be voting in Tuesday’s New York primaries. In the essay, she wrote, “I didn’t grow up celebrating Pesach (Passover). But over the years, I’ve attended seders where I was inspired by the remarkable story told in the Haggadah – a tale of a people who, sustained by fortitude and faith, escaped slavery and reached their freedom. As Jewish people around the world prepare for this festival, I wanted to offer a few of my own thoughts on ancient lessons that still hold wisdom for today’s world.” Passover starts tomorrow.
One glaring problem with the above statement by Clinton is that the story in the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament, which Passover is based upon, of the ancient Egyptians, holding large numbers of Jews as slaves is a lie. Just as there is no reasonable proof that many people turned into zombies in Matthew 27:50-53, so there is no reasonable proof that the ancient Egyptians ever held large numbers of Jews as slaves. Of course, to politicians and clergy, whether something is the truth or is a lie is of little importance.
In her Passover essay, Clinton repeated the Jewish lie that Pharaoh decided not to free the nonexistent Jewish slaves and never mentions the multiple times the Bible story claims that God “hardened Pharaoh’s heart” so that he would not free the Jews. For example, Exodus 4:21 states, “And the LORD said unto Moses When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.”
Clinton never comes to the defense of The Supreme Intelligence/God against these Jewish claims that God hardened Pharaoh’s heart, which allegedly gave God the excuse to slaughter the firstborn of all of the Egyptians and their animals. And she never comes to the defense of God regarding Exodus 12:12 which states, “For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.” Hillary Clinton has a much lower opinion of God than the crude cartoon character Eric Cartman of South Park. In an episode of South Park that addresses the horrific Passover story, when Cartman is told that God will harden Pharaoh’s heart so he will not free the Jews and will then have to slaughter all of the firstborn, Cartman refuses to believe it and shouts, “God is not a dick!”
The American founder and Deist Thomas Paine made a strong statement regarding coming to the defense of The Supreme Intelligence/God against the ungodly claims in the Bible about God. Paine wrote in The Age of Reason:
Had the cruel and murderous orders with which the Bible is filled, and the numberless torturing executions of men, women, and children, in consequence of those orders, been ascribed to some friend whose memory you revered, you would have glowed with satisfaction at detecting the falsehood of the charge, and gloried in defending his injured fame. Is it because ye are sunk in the cruelty of superstition, or feel no interest in the honor of your Creator, that ye listen to the horrid tales of the Bible, or hear them with callous indifference?
The undercurrent of her essay is that Passover and Judaism are about freedom and against slavery. She completely ignores Leviticus 25:44-46 which claims God approves of Jews owning Gentile people as slaves when he allegedly told the Jews:
Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids. Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession. And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen forever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigor.
In her hypocrisy, Clinton also completely ignored addressing the Jewish state’s decades old brutal and illegal growing occupation of Palestinian East Jerusalem and the Palestinian West Bank. She should have quoted Albert Einstein who said regarding Israel, “Should we be unable to find a way to honest cooperation and honest pacts with the Arabs, then we have learned absolutely nothing during our 2,000 years of suffering and deserve all that will come to us.”
The only permanent way to end the religious violence of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam is to take the advice of Thomas Paine who wrote in The Age of Reason that we need a revolution in religion based on our innate God-given reason and Deism. This will make a much better, happier, and more peaceful world.
