Shocking footage has shown the moment a Turkish helicopter was shot down by a Kurdish militant, amid continuing unrest in the country. The video appears to show a Turkish AH-1W Super Cobra helicopter flying over some mountains seemingly ready to attack.
But a PKK Kurdish militant, shot down Turkish military helicopter by a huge surface-to-air missile.
It clips the back of it, sending it spiraling to the earth before exploding into pieces just before it hits the ground, Daily Mail reports.
The video was uploaded on Saturday by Gerilla TV, which is associated with the Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK), reported The Aviationist.
