With the recent death of former Israeli President Shimon Peres, the media is producing large amounts of material in praise of Peres.
One of these articles from the Jerusalem Post praises Peres and states his “greatest achievement” was seeing to it that Israel was able to build nuclear weapons of mass destruction at its nuclear facilities at Dimona. This article seems to indicate that Israel feels strong enough to begin to let go of its “nuclear ambiguity” strategy and to openly brag about its growing nuclear arsenal, not to mention its growing fleet of high-tech submarines that can deliver its nuclear warheads virtually anywhere on our planet Earth.
Israel was not capable of building a nuclear reactor in the 1950s. Peres worked with the French government and persuaded them to give the Jewish state the nuclear reactor. Likewise, Israel was not capable of building high-tech submarines, so they acquired their fleet of submarines from Germany.
The first major crack in the Israeli lie that it did not have nuclear weapons of mass destruction came when one of the workers at Dimona, Mordechai Vanunu, gave an interview and photos from inside Israel’s nuclear reactor to the British press in 1986.
Vanunu is a kind of nuclear age Paul Revere. However, as was made evident by the British documentary Israel’s Secret Weapon, the media (the media in the US in particular) is not a free media and is strongly dominated by powerful Jews who put the Jewish state of Israel first. This is made evident by the documentary Israel’s Secret Weapon.
Whether the Jews of today are the Jews of the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament does not matter in the case of present day Israel and the threat it is to the world with its growing nuclear arsenal. This is because the present state of Israel looks to the ungodly and cruel Hebrew Bible/Old Testament as its blueprint for domination of the Middle East and, according to the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament, the world.
Netanyahu frequently claims Israel’s illegal Jewish settlements on Palestinian land in East Jerusalem are not settlements because Jerusalem has been Israel’s capital for thousands of years. This nonsense is based on the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament.
Other teachings in the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament include: Jews being allowed to own Gentile people as slaves (Leviticus 25:44-46); any nation that will not serve Israel “shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted” (Isaiah 60:12) and, among other things,” the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth” (Deuteronomy 28:1).
To break the stranglehold Israel has on US politicians and to help diffuse this very real and growing nuclear threat the Jewish state of Israel is to the world, we need to strike the root of the problem: religion.
The religion of Judaism, and its offshoots of Christianity and Islam, can only cause suffering and potentially the destruction of life on Earth in a nuclear age. Religion and nuclear weapons do not mix.
The American founder and Deist, Thomas Paine, wrote in The Age of Reason that we need a revolution in religion based on our innate God-given reason and Deism. This will do much to weaken the “revealed”/hearsay religions which will move us further away from an irreversible nuclear catastrophic event.
No longer will be accept such ungodly and foolish claims as God choosing the Jews “above all people that are upon the face of the Earth” (Deuteronomy 7:6), or belief in the Book of Revelation claim that the world will end in the Apocalypse.
The American founder and Deist, Thomas Jefferson, considered the Book of Revelation “as merely the ravings of a maniac, no more worthy nor capable of explanation than the incoherences of our own nightly dreams”.
Bob Johnson is a freelance writer in the Tampa area of Florida. He was raised Roman Catholic, but after a stint in Marine Corps infantry and reading Thomas Paine’s The Age of Reason he became a Deist.
In 1993 he founded the World Union of Deists, and in 1996 he launched the first website devoted to Deism. He is the author of God Gave Us Reason, Not Religion, Deism: A Revolution in Religion, A Revolution in You and An Answer to C.S. Lewis’ Mere Christianity. He has also written the introduction to Thomas Paine’s The Age of Reason, The Complete Edition and Principles of Nature by Elihu Palmer.
