My wife was confronted while breast feeding our son on a public bench. She was very conservative, well covered, but it was obvious that she was feeding our boy. This woman began berating her and demanded that she go to a restroom and feed our son. I stood up, 6’4″ and got in between and menaced the hell out of this stranger. I remember raising my voice to match hers and told her that my son doesn’t eat in bathrooms. What happened next was that other women came over to show support and basically shamed this woman until she walked away. You would of thought we were having a meeting of the La Leche League. In hind-sight, it was a pretty cool moment.
