JUPITER, Fla. — Something was amiss at a massage parlor near one of the wealthiest barrier islands in Florida.

That such a lucrative trafficking network existed near the ritzy enclaves of Jupiter Island, home to the likes of golfer Tiger Woods, and Palm Beach, home to President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, seemed unfathomable to some of the gawkers who posed for selfies — and in some cases cracked off-color jokes — on Friday outside the Orchids of Asia massage parlor in Jupiter, the enterprise that officials said Mr. Kraft had visited.



But Palm Beach was also the place where a well-connected billionaire financier from New York, Jeffrey E. Epstein, was accused a decade ago of molesting dozens of underage girls — some of them runaways or foster children who are vulnerable to sex trafficking. A federal judge ruled on Thursday that prosecutors violated Mr. Epstein’s victims by failing to inform them of a plea deal that would protect him from sex-trafficking charges.

The sweep led to criminal charges last week against several rich, prominent men, including Robert K. Kraft, the billionaire owner of the New England Patriots; John Havens, former president and chief operating officer of Citigroup; and John Childs, founder of the private equity firm J.W. Childs Associates.

Robert Kraft Is Just One of Many Rich and Powerful Men Busted in Florida Prostitution Ring

JUPITER, Florida—A new McLaren 720 and Ferrari 488 gleam in the sun outside of The Orchids of Asia Day Spa while residents pass by to take selfies and make lewd jokes on Saturday. They have come to see the place where New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft allegedly paid to receive sex acts from trafficked Chinese women.

Kraft is not the only prominent resident of the area that has been charged in connection to a multi-million dollar human trafficking and prostitution ring operating in Florida. Over 200 arrests have been made and at least 12 businesses shut down as the result of an eight month-long investigation spanning across three counties on Florida’s Treasure Coast. The area is a seasonal playground for many of America’s rich and powerful, and is peppered with million-dollar estates including President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.

Along with Kraft, criminal charges of soliciting prostitution have been brought against power-players John Childs, the founder of private equity firm J.W. Childs and Associates, as well as John Havens, former CFO of Citigroup. On Friday, Johnny DelPrete, long-time boyfriend of star LPGA golfer Jessica Korda, was also arrested in Stuart, Florida according to Martin County Sheriff’s Office booking records.

  1. I am absolutely shocked. I just can’t believe that these guys got busted in Florida. It has become so corrupt, that I have to be suspicious that this was a ‘hit’ of some sort. Someone is delivering a message.

  2. When are these moral warriors going to rescue all the ‘victims’ of massage parlors on that island where slick willy used to spend every weekend?

  3. To be clear, anyone who didn’t know or who pretended not to know, precisely what was going on in the ‘massage parlors”, is either a “sheltered life” or a liar. These are all over the US. Here in upstate NY, you can call the escort service in the phone book and a hooker will come to your house. Massage parlors are near facilities that have lots of men, and if your police did not know, they are the worst police in the world.
    Despite the public view of prostitution, I have always maintained it should be made legal, but what has actually happened, is it has been kept illegal but not enforced, so what we see here, most know, is selective enforcement. I cannot say I am sad about it, but, very skeptical. I would rather see a stressed cop, stop by a parlor before going home, for lots of reasons. Soldiers too. I have met some impressive Asian madams, who are not only very good at keeping a clean discreet business, but carry intellect that rivals any psychologist. They can be excellent judges of character, and good prostitutes are usually highly intelligent and wise to male emotionality.

  5. With money and privilege; you can’t court and spark a proper woman? Evidently you are not trying. I’m not even implying monogamy; just the consent of adults.Are these idiots just too lazy to bother?

  6. At the higher echelons of our society, ‘ money talks’ ‘money makes the world go around’! It buys, and promotes, ‘Amorality.’ The political and entertainment circles are loaded with, degenerate, egomaniacs, who are above the restraints of society, as such, they are just, ‘narcistic creatures’, and because of that, they are also placed in many, precarious positions, situations, that the ‘sinister powers to be’, can use, exploit, threaten, them, to do, act as they are told! That is why, I believe that our Congress is but a, “BROTHEL”, loaded with prostituted individuals, who do not dare to serve their constituents, but the Alien, Foreign Sinister Forces, who hold the ‘strings’, around their necks! God Save America! SHALOM! What, “American Values???”
