For once, I agree with Trump. This coronavirus is being hyped up by the media with the hope of getting Trump out of office in November. Consider: 2000, or so, deaths in China so far, when over 300,000 people in China died of pollution related illnesses in 2019. 17 deaths in Italy, a country with a population of 60 million; one case reported in Mexico, a country with a population of 125 million people. 34 reported deaths in Iran, a country with a population of 70 million people, and so on, and so on. In 2018, 61,000 people died from the flu in the U.S alone. What the media aren’t reporting thus far is the vast majority of coronavirus cases presenting with flu-like symptoms and resolving in full recovery. This is fear porn by the media. It will hurt travel industry, retail, restaurants entertainment, and markets because people decide to stay home. People will lose jobs. What better way to kill an economy and get rid of Trump? If this proves to be the case, and so many people are hurt economically, I hope it becomes lethally dangerous for these media people to even be seen in public. They will have deserved it.
Thank you for your comment Gordon. I wish you success in your endeavor. It’s becoming wearisome. That said, I grew up in Indiana although I have not resided there for many years. I have friends and family there, but religious delusion abounds. It could well be the buckle in the bible belt. Thusly, Indiana ends up with characters like Quayle and Pence in state office.
What concerns me about Pence heading the ‘task force’ is his connections to the pharmaceutical industry in Indiana. He is a dear friend of Eli Lilly. Indiana would not have an economy to speak of without Lilly. Possible chicanery here. What a surprise.

The 5g story is something RDS picked up because, though I love him like a red-headed step child, he is very careless as to his sources. I regularly remind him that he takes information from serial fabricationists. He is trained to know better but feels a need to work the “Trump base” in order to secure his own political future.
This puts him in bed with morons and some of us think he needs to come up with a new approach.
