US bankers stole $7 trillion during COVID-19 lockdown, destroyed small businesses

By Kevin Barrett, VT Editor for Press TV

Donald Trump has a way of saying a lot of crazy and incoherent things. And he’s such a ‘genius’ at it that people (like comedian Sarah Cooper) can parody him pretty much by just playing a tape of what he says. And recently, the most recent example of this is his quite amazing statement that the concept of chokeholds sounds ‘so innocent, so perfect.’

That is a very strange statement. It sounds like something that an insane murderer would say after he’s been arrested for choking hundreds of people to death. They finally got the serial killer and he was a complete madman. And as he was being arrested he raved: ‘The concept of chokehold sounds so innocent, so perfect!’ And, you know, it’s something right out of Silence of the Lambs. It’s some kind of horror movie.

But Trump keeps putting his foot in his mouth because he has supreme confidence in himself, and yet he is not a rigorous and systematic thinker by any means. He can ad-lib reasonably well by the standards of sort of an average person, but his ad-libs as he makes up his speeches as he goes along, they fly all over the map, and then he ends up saying these bizarre things that can be highlighted by the media, which of course, for the most part, doesn’t like him too much.

Trump: Police chokeholds may sometimes be needed
Trump: Police chokeholds may sometimes be needed

US President Donald Trump has described the concept of chokeholds as “so innocent” and said the controversial method used by police may be needed in dangerous situations.

So, if we were to unpack this whole issue of Trump and Black Lives Matter, and the choking death of George Floyd and its implications, I think there’s a whole lot that can be said here. Trump is trying to position himself as the law and order candidate to get the key voters in the swing states on his side again in the next elections.

He’s currently trailing by Joe Biden by 10 points. Anybody trailing Joe Biden by 10 points is not doing very well. And Trump or his advisors think that if the chaos in the United States continues to accelerate it might reach a point where a law and order candidate would actually get those swing voters. So maybe that’s the political method behind Trump’s apparent madness.

But at a deeper level (consider) this whole media hoopla around George Floyd and the police killings of black people which have been going on for years and years and years with varying amounts of mainstream coverage. It seems that the mainstream gets most excited when a relatively unsavory individual is killed. There’ve been some very much more saintly people who’ve been murdered by police to virtually no mainstream coverage. It’s very strange how that works.

US bankers conducted the biggest heist in history

The mainstream media seems to be part of a propaganda operation that is trying to change the conversation right now from what really matters, which is that the most powerful banking cabal in the world — the people who essentially own and operate the government of the United States, the West and much of the world — just stole at least $7 trillion, primarily from poor people, in the COVID lockdown which destroyed small businesses all over the world, which is starving poor people all over the world, and which led to the printing of unlimited money for the world’s biggest and wealthiest bankers. It bailed them out of their debt crisis and gave them the right to give themselves and their friends as much money as they want by printing it out of thin air, and they are doing that even as we speak.

There was a corporate bailout at the level of trillions for the friends of Steven Mnuchin. He and his Zionist buddies have an unlimited credit line. They never have to pay it back. It’s basically just a bailout slush fund.

So this is the biggest robbery in the history of the world and ordinary people are suffering horribly. They were locked down and they felt like they couldn’t breathe. Their economic lives have been destroyed and they felt like they couldn’t breathe.

And so then suddenly, just at the moment when they should have risen up and revolt and stormed Wall Street, stormed Washington DC and overthrown these thieves who just conducted the biggest robbery in the history of the world, suddenly the conversation changes to race, and the ordinary working white people and black people are being turned against each other, talking about race, rather than this robbery, conducted under the premeditated pretext of a COVID pandemic which was almost certainly manufactured in a biological warfare lab, under the direction of the very bankers who have stolen six, seven or more trillion dollars based on this pandemic which they obviously plotted out in great detail ahead of time, as part of an effort for them to centralize their wealth and power to stop the rise of China by blowing up the globalized world with the economy that is the engine of China’s rise, and to allow them to impose a top-down police state on the people of the West so they can continue to centralize and strengthen their control of the West and the world. That’s what COVID really was. And they’ve changed the conversation to race so we don’t notice it.

US torpedoed the entire global economy to stop China

“The US desperately needs to stop the rise of China to number one world power status,” says Dr. Kevin Barrett.

  1. Kevin, stick with the financial commentary and nix the Trump bashing. It’s not a good look for you.

    • Trump wears a big flashing neon “kick me I am a narcissistic idiot” sign on his rear end. Why am I the only guy on earth who isn’t allowed to kick it?

  2. Silverstein of 911 was a school boy compared to these guys operating on a large scale! I suppose the American death rate was also 33 times higher than 911. That magic number (33) has been appearing everywhere recently has it got something to do with the Cabala?

  3. Also don’t forget the systemic crippling of small business by deliberately mislabeled “Merchant Fees” on broadly-defined payment cards. Your “free loan” and “grace period” on a credit/charge-card transaction, for example, based on a 5% Merchant Fee and a 21-day “grace period” puts a 5% concealed interest charge in the card-issuer’s pocket at an effective interest rate of 144% per annum. All the card-issuers are required to – and do – treat them internally as interest / credit charges received from the card-users from whom they actually receive them. If the card-user doesn’t pay then the bank never receives the “Merchant Fee” and that reality of credit cannot be avoided by a label.

Technically the merchant is required to give a stipulated percentage “price discount” to a card-user (from 1% to 6%) but is also forbidden to tell them about it. the card-issuer then receives and books the concealed credit charge at the end of the grace period as a rake-off from the card-user’s payment.

These fees (concealed-credit-charges) are a percentage of the gross charge and are divvied-up among the card-issuer’s bank, the card-user’s bank, and the so-called clearinghouse. Then add the separate fixed direct monthly equipment fees to the merchant and the grand total in many cases can be up to 50% of the working capital (gross margin) of a small business.

With the surge in card-use from the coronavirus lockdown the global total will likely have passed the the USD-equivalent of $1 trillion per year ($1,000,000,000,000) or about $3 billion a day.

The article is correct in that a great deal of what is going on is targeted at small business.

  4. Sometimes understatement carries more impact. Well said. The Chinese are playing the Anglo-Zionists as they have studied the power of the occupiers. China while not perfect and has corruption , makes sure the money they print mostly goes into vast infrastructure projects and employment and services. Wall Street has stashed the peoples trillions in offshore havens and in their bunkers and mansions which some are already fleeing to.[Patagonia] But they cannot drive their Veyrons down broken roads and collapsed bridges chased by millions of waking up starving zombies and where do they buy parts materials and lumber if the hardware stores are all looted and burned.. Also their body guards in time will start eyeing their wives and daughters and it will game over. Just like Rome and Venice history keeps repeating itself.
