Health Editor’s Note: Making sure schools reopen in the fall is one of the top items on Trump’s ‘Hate Americans” wish list. Yes, I said that…hate. He has to hate us or he would be listening to all the medical input he can get to try to halt this COVID-19 run away wildfire. Trump thinks sending kids back to school, creating a sense of normalization, will help his poll numbers.
Re-opening schools is first about the safety of children and teachers, and then about our nation. Yes, we would want children to return to school, because well, some children do not already know how to read and write or need more educational help than an already over-stressed/worked/and not prepared for teaching parent can provide at home.
Trump excluded scientific/medical knowledge from the beginning of this pandemic and he continues to do so, even though the numbers of cases and deaths mount in terrifying numbers daily. Other countries have embraced medical/scientific knowledge and they have a fraction of the cases and deaths that the U.S. has….Carol
White House blocks CDC from testifying on reopening schools next week

(CNN)The White House is blocking US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Robert Redfield and other officials from the agency from testifying before a House Education and Labor Committee hearing on reopening schools next week, just as the debate over sending children back to classrooms has flared up across the US.
White House officials informed the committee of its decision in an email, a staff member on the House panel told CNN.
Carol graduated from Riverside White Cross School of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio and received her diploma as a registered nurse. She attended Bowling Green State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Literature. She attended the University of Toledo, College of Nursing, and received a Master’s of Nursing Science Degree as an Educator.
She has traveled extensively, is a photographer, and writes on medical issues. Carol has three children RJ, Katherine, and Stephen – one daughter-in-law; Katie – two granddaughters; Isabella Marianna and Zoe Olivia – and one grandson, Alexander Paul. She also shares her life with her husband Gordon Duff, many cats, and two rescues.
