Senior army officers, national intelligence officials, CIA analysts and even Israeli cyber experts. These are the teachers who train the students at Link Campus University in Rome. Especially in the exclusive Master in Intelligence and Security intended on paper for future managers of national authorities and agencies, employees of the arms industry, scholars of geopolitics and strategic affairs but in fact a real “forge” of 007 agents ready to be recruited by the Italian secret services , by the military ones of NATO or by the American Central Intelligence Agency for an inclusion in its notorious National Clandestine Service, the coordinating authority of HUMINT (human intelligence).
Who has heard of the book “Spy Schools: How the CIA, FBI and Foreign Intelligence Secretly Exploit America’s Universities (Henry Holt and Company)” by investigative journalist Daniel Golden on how CIA & co. exploit the US universities in particular in the Kennedy School of the prestigious Harward University he will not be surprised to know that also in Italy a training center for spies was born under the screen of a university.
Too bad that the Link Campus University, with its Roman headquarters in via del Casale di San Pio V and about 1800 students enrolled (2017 data), also attended by the Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio of the 5 Star Movement, in recent months it has come under investigation for many alleged malpractice which confirm the old adage that “the wolf loses its fur but not the vice” and goes far beyond the well-known story of the Maltese professor Joseph Mifsud.
This Link’s lecturer vanished into thin air after being listed as a pawn by RussiaGate against US President Donald Trump (whose committee was suspected of links with the Kremlin in the spread of compromising emails against rival Hillary Clinton) and ended up in the center of the subsequent counter-investigation conducted by the Attorney General William Barr and the magistrate in charge John Durham, who also came to Italy to clarify the SpyGate.
In recent months it has been renamed ObamaGate for the alleged conspiracy hatched by the American Democrats at the origin of the scandals thanks to CIA informers, as in the case of UkraineGate for which a former intelligence director has publicly praised the hidden action of the “Deep State” against the Republican tenant of the White House.
This report, however, wants to dig deeper. It is the preamble of an international intrigue that is tangled up around the recent scandals in the Italian judiciary culminating with the PalamaraGate and the role of our Mediterranean peninsula in the Italian-British arms lobby, closely linked with the Muslim Brotherhood of Qatar and Turkey, as already highlighted in a previous reportage, but also to the secret services and freemasonry as we will see shortly (if they do not make us disappear first …).
Issues that also involve embarrassing military operations such as the one that saw NATO implicitly and covertly legitimize the sending of ISIS cutthroat jihadists to Libya as Turkish mercenaries in support of President Fayez Al-Serraj’s Government of National Accord in Tripoli (diplomatically supported also by the American lobbying company Mercury) in the civil war against General Khalifa Haftar’s Libyan National Army, now suspended in a fragile truce.
By virtue of the blissful impunity granted to the powerful of the Deep International State – the financial, Masonic, military and spy apparatus that controls or influences politicians and governments in almost all Western countries – a former minister pardoned by the “statute barred” for the SISDE black funds scandal (Italian internal secret services now called AISI) can boast in public interviews of the fact that “Link was the first university to include in its graduate and post graduate programs intelligence and security studies also intended for members of the army, of the order “. In fact, former Defense Minister Elisabetta Trenta, wanted by the M5S in the first Conte government (2018-2019), also taught there.
The Master of Intelligence & Security, flagship of the university, is reserved for a highly selected elite or children of nabobs since in the academic year 2019-2020 the tuition amounted to 10 thousand euros, discounted at 50% for operators of the Defense and Security Sector but free for 18 lucky scholarship winners, of which 8 are reserved for civilian and military personnel engaged in international missions.
This would already be enough to startle us having discovered, as we will explain, that the university has become famous thanks to a conference organized by the CIA: because it means that these foreign mission officials could be selected during the lessons and “recruited” by the most powerful intelligence of the world without the knowledge of those for whom they are operating in perhaps very delicate contexts, such as the Libyan or Syrian one where the jihadists received the powerful TOW anti-tank missiles from Langley, headquarters of the US counter-intelligence (SETA dossier published by Gospa News).
But it is the judicial profile of the founder and president of Link Campus University in Rome that accentuates the suspicions that the alleged shady deals uncovered by the judiciary are only the tip of the iceberg of an unscrupulous and unregulated intelligence activity because it is included in a strategic and functional to those secret services that almost always get away with it even after heinous criminal actions.
FORMER MINISTER OF BLACK FUNDS SISDE THEN FOUNDER OF LINK
Vincenzo Scotti, born in 1933, for Christian Democratic party minister in various governments from 1978 to 1992, was Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs in the Berlusconi government, before starting this university project as recounted in an interview with StartMag a few months ago.
«The idea was born in the late nineties of the last century, when I was taking a course at the University of Malta. With the support of two great friends and high-level Italian and Maltese statesmen, such as Francesco Cossiga and Guido De Marco, we decided to make use of an Italian law, resulting from the Lisbon Convention, to ask the Italian government to authorize the creation of a subsidiary of the University of Malta. It was 1999 the Rector was Roger Ellul Micallef. In 2007 we were recognized as the Italian branch of the University of Malta and finally in 2011 we were transformed and recognized as a legally recognized non-state Italian university».
Scotti is also known in the news for being the Minister of the Interior replaced before the summer of the mafia massacres in which judges Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino were assassinated with bomb attacks, both engaged in the so-called Caronte Informative of the ROS Carabinieri of Palermo in relation the connections between the mafia, politics and freemasonry but also on the Sicily-US drug trafficking front revealed by the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigations) Pizza Connection investigation.
Well, the former minister has become president of the university that trains potential 007 despite being overwhelmed by a scandal that also brought one of the top secret service officials to trial. The Wikipedia reconstruction is essential but eloquent.
«Indicted for embezzlement and abuse of office due to the scandal of the SISDE slush funds in 1993, the criminal charges were then lapsed due to a prescription. The Court of Auditors ordered him to compensate the State € 2,995,450, judging him guilty together with the former director of the Sisde, Alessandro Voci, of having bought a building in Rome with Sisde reserved funds at an increased price of 10 billion lire for the creation of black funds. He was acquitted of the charge of corruption in the management of sanitation and in that of the Italia 90 World Cup».
But what can black funds be used by the secret services that already have their own official budget? Perhaps to pay for mysterious informers or to finance covert operations (as happened for the weapons depots and the military of Operation Gladio also known as Stay Behind because it matured within British and American intelligence) or perhaps anoint CIA agents who obviously cannot be put on the payroll from another state?
DOZENS OF POLICEMEN IN TROUBLE FOR EASY DEGREES
Good blood does not lie and the sinister results slowly came to light in May 2020. The investigations that revealed the dark side of the university were reported by all the newspapers in Italy and therefore it is up to us only the easy task of fixing the tiles of a disturbing mosaic.
“After more than two years of investigations, the investigation into alleged” easy exams “at the faculty of political science and international relations at the private university Link Campus University in Rome, a body chaired by former minister Vincenzo Scotti, was closed by the Florence prosecutor’s office. The Tuscan prosecutors have enrolled in the register of suspects 71 people who answer, for various reasons, for material and ideological falsehoods regarding numerous episodes of altered examination reports and criminal conspiracy”wrote Il Fatto Quotidiano newspaper on 13 May 2020.
Here we go again mister Scotti! «Among the suspects there is the president of the school himself, who issued degrees recognized by the state, but also the administrative heads of the institution, teachers, researchers, employees and many students. Scotti is under investigation for criminal association in competition aimed at false examinations and considered by the prosecutors “promoter, breeder and organizer of the association” together with, among others, Pasquale Russo general director of Link, Claudio Roveda member of the board of directors and rector, Pierluigi Matera member of the Academic Senate, Maurizio Claudio Zandri coordinator of the degree course, as well as teachers, researchers, administrators».
The prosecutors in charge of the investigation (deputy Christine von Borries, deputy prosecutor Luca Turco and the chief prosecutor Giuseppe Creazzo) contested for the academic years 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 the failure to attend classes” and the exams taken in Florence (but also in Bologna) instead of in the Rome office of the Link Campus, as considered mandatory. But what is even more serious “it would appear that the teachers delivered the questions or topics to the examiners before the exam tests, and, again the accusations, the teachers themselves would have allowed them to freely consult the Internet and, in essence, to copy from the web the answers “. Among the anomalies detected by the investigators also that for which the students did not have to attend any lessons, held in Rome, despite the didactic regulations.
Not only. «Among the students there are numerous policemen on duty at the Florence police headquarters. According to the prosecutors they would have registered on Link Campus through Siulp. The secretary general of the police union, Felice Romano is under investigation on charges of criminal association in competition with the top management of the link Campus for carrying out ‘facilitated examinations’ for the registered policemen that Siulp himself would have sent to the Link Campu».
For the defense attorneys, the policemen were in good faith. “My clients, in the pursuit of their studies – says the lawyer Federico Bagattini, who defends numerous agents of the police headquarters in Florence -, scrupulously complied with the instructions of the Link Campus University officials” regarding courses and the conduct of exams. While the university declared “its absolute extraneousness to the accusations made by the prosecutor of Florence and confirms the full transparency of all its work”. It will be the hearing before the GUP (preliminary hearing judge) that will dispel any doubts.
SUPER-COURSE WITH US INTELLIGENCE EXPERTS
It is undisputed that any policeman who is interested in joining the secret services can have great opportunities only if he has a degree and thus manages to start a career as an official. While it is Gospa News who unveils the intertwining between policemen, intelligence and Pentagon contractors within the university as shown in an unequivocal OSINT document referring to September 2014.
enix Training Center vanta all’interno del suo corpo docenti , specialisti provenienti dallo US.DoD ( Department of Defense ), DIA ( Defense Intelligence Agency ), CIA ( Central Intelligence Agency ), FBI ( Federal Boureau Investigation ) e dalle Law Enforcement Agency»
“The Link Campus University of Rome for the first time organizes in Italy the first course of ‘Elicitation Techniques” with the extraordinary teaching of the staff of Phoenix Training Center, a company owned by the American giant Dyncorp International LLC, for 50 years the largest service provider in support of the US Department of Defense and the Federal Agencies of the US Government. Today Phoenix Training Center boasts within its faculty, specialists from the US.DoD (Department of Defense), DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency), CIA (Central Intelligence Agency), FBI (Federal Boureau Investigation) and Law Enforcement Agency”-
In the description of the course, reading becomes easy only for professionals: “Elicitation is one of the branches of Humint (Human Intelligence) represents the strategic process of identifying a target for the purpose of receiving information. The ‘Elicitation’ techniques are based on targeted communication and conversation strategies designed with the aim of acquiring information, analyzing and studying personality profiles according to the ” Myer’s Briggs Type Indicator ”. The course is particularly suitable for personnel belonging to the world of government intelligence and large corporations “.
At a cost of 900 euros, three days of courses were proposed with American experts Clifford Ruggles, with over 25 years of experience within the American military intelligence DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) & DHS (Defense Humint Service) and Troy Shane Brown, with over 25 years of experience within the US Law Enforcement Community and ‘Surveillance, Counter Surveillance & Hostage Negotiations Instructor at the Quantico FBI Academy. But for members of the SIULP police union a 50% discount was applied.
CONFERENCE OF CIA “DISSIDENTS” IN ROME
“The dissidents of the CIA” is a great reportage to be read in its entirety to understand the scenarios experienced by the world of counter-espionage after 11 September, on which weigh more and more the suspicions of a cursed conspiracy of international scope, through explosions piloted at the World Trade Center, as claimed by the Lawyers Committee and the Architects & Engineers for 911Truth association and as reported by Gospa News on the occasion of the recent anniversary.
«The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have sent their officers to lecture at Link. In 2004, the CIA and Link organized a conference in Rome attended by intelligence and police officials of nearly 30 countries, including then-CIA deputy director for intelligence Jami Miscik. The then-CIA analyst Stephen Marrin was a guest lecturer at Link» the summary is from Wikipedia while the details are reported by David Ignatius on April 6, 2014 in the Washington Post in an objective and even biting article.
«If the intelligence community keeps doing what it was doing before Sept. 11, 2001, it risks making more mistakes that could have disastrous effects. The danger of the status quo was underlined by the intelligence failure in assessing Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction; analysts signed off on estimates that provided a rationale for war but that, in hindsight, appear to have been wrong».
Wrote the journalist launching an arrow at the administration of George W. Bush jr which eliminated Saddam Hussein with the excuse of chemical weapons but, in our opinion, only served to steal oil after the corruption scandal that spread to the UN, with the arrest warrant to executive director Benon Vahe Sevan who took refuge in Cyprus where there is no extradition, around the Oil for Food project well described in the recent film Backstabbing for Beginners (2018) directed by Per Fly.
«So what is the CIA doing to shake up its people and procedures? Can it break down the walls of secrecy and bureaucracy that prevent analysts from communicating more effectively with colleagues at other U.S. intelligence agencies — let alone with foreign intelligence and security services?» Ignatius wonders in the Washington Post before unveiling how Link University came into the orbit of the Central Intelligence Agency.
«Last week I attended a CIA-sponsored conference here that was described as an “experiment” with these disruptive ideas. The conference, “New Frontiers of Intelligence Analysis,” brought together officials from intelligence and police agencies of nearly 30 countries. The sessions were all unclassified, and I was one of several journalists and a dozen or so academics who were invited». (read more…)
