Health Editor’s Note: A leadership vacuum from Trump, a president who downplayed the threat of coronavirus by refusing to wear a mask, denigrating science and medicine, along with governors who were never on the same ‘prevent pandemic’ page and caved in to ‘pressure’ to remove or roll-back containment measures, and lack of monies provided to test and contact trace has led to an ominous outlook for the upcoming months.
Time has been wasted and still coronavirus cases increase daily with mounting deaths. Those who survive a COVID-19 infection may very well have lasting medical issues for months after being COVID-19 free. Wear your mask, physically distance, no groups, do not go out if you are sick, wash your hands like your life depends on it because well… your life does depend on not contracting coronavirus….Carol
Carol graduated from Riverside White Cross School of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio and received her diploma as a registered nurse. She attended Bowling Green State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Literature. She attended the University of Toledo, College of Nursing, and received a Master’s of Nursing Science Degree as an Educator.
She has traveled extensively, is a photographer, and writes on medical issues. Carol has three children RJ, Katherine, and Stephen – one daughter-in-law; Katie – two granddaughters; Isabella Marianna and Zoe Olivia – and one grandson, Alexander Paul. She also shares her life with her husband Gordon Duff, many cats, and two rescues.
