[ Editor’s Note: I just discovered that a memory I had of Weinstein having died in prison must have been from a dream. And no, I do not wish he was dead.

Gordon convinced me years ago that doing time was much better punishment, and death was actually an escape. For the rich, it is the worse punishment that there is.



And there is always the possible bonus that the publicity of the trial will bring out more victims to expose more pervs, as the entertainment business has always been full of them.

And who knows, among the potential trials that Mr. Trump might be facing, we may get to see some new victims come forward… Jim W. Dean ]

A judge ordered Harvey Weinstein’s extradition to California, 11 months into his 23 year prison sentence in New York. Weinstein’s attorneys have been fighting against the transfer. Prosecutors in Los Angeles have filed charges involving five women.

Jim, I believe Gordon is wrong, death is an escape if you are poor, but the rich can buy a comfortable stay in a VIP section on prison while their lawyers keep appealing in the courts trying to achieve reduced sentence or an early release and always they have the possibility to take advantage a riot from other prisoners and a jail leak or fund one. Also at the same time he can continue running their business from inside prison.

      I’m sure you think Madoff enjoyed his 12 years in jail.
