Tina Peters freaks out at Mike Lindell’s symposium after state asks for evidence in password leak case

Raw Story: Colorado’s secretary of state issued an order to Mesa County clerk Tina Peters demanding election equipment, video footage and documents after a password to the county’s election equipment was posted online.

Secretary of state Jena Griswold, a Democrat, started inspecting the equipment and documents alongside Mesa County law enforcement officers — and Peters isn’t responding to the state order and described the inspection as a “raid” during a symposium hosted in South Dakota by conspiracy-mongering MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, reported The Daily Sentinel.



“When I got on a plane to come see you folks and to talk to you out there, guess what they did,” Peters said at the symposium in Sioux Falls. “They provided a search warrant and raided my office. We don’t know what they were doing in there, because for several hours they wouldn’t even let my chief deputy, who is the acting clerk for Mesa County when I’m absent, they wouldn’t let her observe what the secretary of state and Dominion [Voting Systems] were doing in my office.”

No representatives from Dominion, which has filed a billion-dollar defamation suit against Lindell, were present during the inspection, which was conducted alongside investigators from Mesa County’s Republican district attorney Dan Rubinstein’s office.

A man who was employed by Peters but does not show up on Mesa County payroll records allegedly shared the passwords with conspiracy theorist Ron Watkins — widely rumored to be at the center of the Qanon conspiracy theory — before they were posted on the right-wing blog Gateway Pundit.  Read more…

  1. As a Trumpster, Tina Peters probably has never been a big fan of democracy or the rule of law, so the news that she’s in charge of elections in Mesa County, Colorado is a real hoot. She knows there’s no legal way for Trump to be reinstated as president so the only way for that to happen is by some catastrophic and catalyzing event, like a new Pearl Harbor. Hey, where have we heard that one before?

    Gordon keeps telling us about the Dominionists in the US military always angling to start WWIII and blame it on Iran. It will inevitably involve the Russian and will go nuclear within hours. It’ll be over in weeks or maybe days. Then the Rapture-me-outa-here crowd will fly up to Heaven while the rest of us will be turned into cinder cakes. Good riddance to those assholes, I say.

    • Not only have we made that accusation for year now, no one with a reputation to lose has ever contested it, not has anyone official contacted us ‘to learn more’. Beirut was the last fraud, openly so, where we have the warning labels of the fertilizer bags as slam dunk proof…but you know who pretends they are not aware if that, so they don’t have to do anything. The reason for that is that a small country in the Mideast is the only other suspect, and none of our highly paid defenders want to go there.

    • We see the continuing pattern. Make charges, constantly, to get media, as that keeps the base fired up, and the charges being untrue don’t bother the base, but just the opposite, and then donate more money in appreciation. So there is not incentive for the Trump wheels to ease off until they are charged, which is taking way too long for the time they have been operating. But due to the ‘sensitivity’ of the head of the crime being Trump, the prosecutors know they only have one shot to get it right, and no one wants to be blamed for a screw up because corners were cut or they moved to fast. The safest way is ALWAYS to flip insiders as then you have DIRECT evidence as to intent to present to a jury.
