  2. A glimmer of light this Christmas Eve! Congrats to you Mr. Duff. I traveled through India, Kashmir and Nepal in 1984 for several months. My friend stayed on a boat with a Kashmiri family in Srinagar on a houseboat on Dal lake and did guided treks in the Mountains north of Gilgit. That area is Breathtakingly beautiful and wrought with power struggles that rival none. Peace Brothers and Sisters.

    • Lot’s of juggling, and not letting all the craziness steal critical work away that needs to get done. Gordon’s Pakistani connections go way back.

    • Much is unseen. A long story there. With so many others melting down…getting caught up in hoaxes and plots those left with “standing” are few and far between.

      The real question is “what can be fixed?” We saved Syria and VT had a very strong part in that. We did that because of the Syrian people.

      We couldn’t save Lebanon…but we might still. What is it all about?

      Allowing simple, ordinary people, where such still exist, to live in safety with a modicum of personal freedom.

      We don’t ask much.
