One must say that Obama wanted to make people laugh during his last day when he gave one reason as to why the United States must continue to put Russia on a diet. “America,” he said, must “stand up for the basic principle that big countries don’t go around and invade and bully smaller countries.”
I almost puked when Obama uttered those words.
Here is a guy who bombed seven countries in just six years and now he is telling Russia to abide by “basic principles”! Under Obama’s command, American launched Neocon expedition in places like Afghanistan, Yemen, Pakistan, Somalia, Libya, Iraq, and Syria.[1]
Every single one of those expeditions has already cost billions of dollars and has already destroyed a large part of the Middle East. From 2009 until 2014, US drone strikes killed at least 2,400 civilians.[2]
Moreover, if the US happens to target 41 men, then 1,147 would have to die, and many of the victims are children.[3] It has just been reported that “Nearly 90 percent of those killed in recent drone strikes were not the target.”[4] Brown University has estimated that at least “210,000 Afghan, Iraqi, and Pakistani civilians have died violent deaths as a direct result of the wars.”
So, is Obama again telling the truth by saying that big countries should never invade and bully small countries? Will he ever apologize to the Iraqi, Afghan, and Syrian people for killing their sons and daughters?
As Russia Today put it in 2014, Obama should be called O, bomber![5] The US dropped 26,171 bombs in 2016 alone! Obama should never have listened to Neocon hawks like Bill Kristol, who once bragged that Obama “is a born-again Neocon.”
