Engineer, environmental researcher, and activist Bruce Melton is Thorne Dreyer’s guest on Rag Radio and he provides a fascinating if sobering overview of global warming today. In an article published at Truthout and The Rag Blog titled “Climate Change 2017: What happened and what it means,” Melton asks:
How many more billions of dollars in damages will it take? How many more lives? It’s obvious; all the climate extremes we have been experiencing lately are indeed caused by climate change. Our climate is already far too dangerous.
Melton begins the show by listing in rapid order 28 actions, most of them administrative, that Donald Trump has taken over the last year, that are “literally creating a climate change holocaust.”
This is a broadcast not to be missed.
Bruce Melton, a longtime contributor to The Rag Blog and guest on Rag Radio, writes about climate science for the progressive website, Truthout. Melton is a professional engineer, environmental researcher, filmmaker, author, and CEO of the Climate Change Now Initiative in Austin, which is a nonprofit outreach organization reporting the latest discoveries in climate science in plain English.
