On the other words, the US declared economical war against herself, targeting small businesses and farms. That ls called a treason, which may lead to death penalty. I think there is also notation in US Constitution, that allows one to carry a gun to protect him/herself and the property one owned against thieves and thugs.
So why Republican voting small farms do nothing but complain Democrats. In fact reasonably tuned “green deal” might give them more opportunities in small unit energy production in wind, solar and biomass. It seems, that discussion in US and Europe always turn out to be that all the energy will be produced by wind and solar energy or nothing will be produced by wind and solar, never anything in between these extremes.
