I think it is very important to reflect on how we are controlled by our beliefs. The complexity and potential of the mind is astounding. Many, not all who read VT and try to follow the facts must understand that what we interpret comes from the various writers and editors and they are all unique individuals. I enjoy reading different veterans and ‘spy’s’ take on what they experience, the knowledge they present. But I recognize that even those on ‘the inside’ are constrained through their training and their perspectives are tainted by that view point. To some extent what they feel to be true can be manipulate as often all they get is ‘need to know’ information plus their level of curiosity. I believe we were warned that maybe 30% of what is written is close to fact, that leave a lot of BS to sort through. Maybe that only applies Gordon’s articles but judging from the information expressed I do not doubt it applies to all. I work with many people I respect a great deal and who are far more intelligent than me who truly believe in Trump. Unless he is pulling the same 30% rule I believe the man is utter garbage. I am just sad that Trump and his family have gotten the vaccination for this pandemic and I can not witness him being turned away from a ventilator for a more viable specimen.
