Eric Trump seems to have taken the advice of his attorney to refuse to testify, if nothing else, to delay any more testimony coming out before the election, which daddy is desperate to avoid.

But Glenn describes how taking the 5th only applies to questions about your own criminal actions, not others, including your dad. So can a judge order Don Jr. to testify anyway?

He could refuse, and bite the contempt of court penalty, fines and or jail possibly. Or he could risk testifying, where if he lies, he will then be exposed for a perjury charge. Many of the pending cases that have been discussed for the hopefully soon to be deposed Trump regime involve lying during Congressional hearings.

They will of course not get the death penalty, but small cases can build into bigger ones, where individuals can risk charges due to paper evidence obtained and the testimony of others, etc. The long knives are out, now that the conventions are over … Jim W. Dean ]
