Health Editor’s Note: With Trump crowing over ‘herd immunity’ for a virus that offers no trusted immunity (lasting antibodies) against itself and a question of when or if there will be a vaccine that the U.S. will allow to be used, it is no wonder this group seeks to vet the guidance from the CDC and FDA.
Trump tweets or announces something so it is so….no scientific evidence, proof, research, etc. needed to back it up. His political aspirations for November and constant interference of his administration into the way the CDC conducts business has everyone doubting what the future will hold.
Do Note that there is no herd immunity possible without a reliable vaccine or at the very least, an immunity with antibodies, that fight off a future case of coronavirus. There are reports of people getting re-infected at least a second time with a different strain of COVID-19 than they had the first time. Sometimes the person is sicker with the second infection. COVID-19 immunity only occurs when the body producing antibodies against the virus or from a vaccine which helps the body to develop immunity. Lack of lasting antibody production will allow for future infection with the virus that will go on and on and on and infect millions and kill thousands……Carol

My guess is that the Russian vaccine works just fine and that you are wrong…to an extent. Can you get the Russian vaccine there?
