I’ve always liked Arnold. He still visits Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach from time to time, and has kept that connection to regular people.
I’ve heard he’s likable but underneath it’s a different story. For forty years I saw politicians come and go in California but he was a disaster for the two terms. And then at the end he was going to screw Californians on his way out. He tried to unlawfully sell 11 state buildings including the Ronald Reagan building in downtown LA the San Francisco Civic Center, and the Department of Justice Building and the Attorney General Building in Sacramento to the investment group California First, LLC, a Texan group, all for a lousy commission. Remember the budget shortfall of 2010 ? he was trying to portray that the sale would help but when penciled out the deal would have cost Californians 6 times more over time.
That was just the tip of the iceberg. He would show up to Sacramento with a private jet but taxpayers fuel after 11am probably taking the maid on board and fly back down to El Lay before dinner and party, a lavish lifestyle only Trump is capable of. Someone caught Jerry Brown in a hallway at the Sac airport the day he took over with a SW economy ticket sticking out if his pocket, took a picture and posted it all over the net showing the difference.
Republicans are incorrigible.
During the budget shortfall we all kicked in. I’m the only one in the history of SF to have paid out of pocket for a speed bump installed in front of my house when we didn’t have the budget, a necessity that the city pays, and they paid for dozens after the recovery.
We all kicked in, except for Schwarzecaucasian …
